Appartamento con terrazzo

Excellent location, beautiful apartment with an amazing view, modern and comfortable. The kitchen was exceptionally well equipped and had everything we needed to self- cater if we chose to. The hosts were very responsive (we had to text them on our first night when we couldn't find the cutlery which was in a 'hidden' drawer and they got right back to us). We had an excellent stay. The location was excellent. On the days we stayed in Orvieto it allowed us to go back and forth to cool off - we were there during the first big heat wave of the season and it was hot. We also appreciated how close it is to where the shuttle from the funicular drops off - a previous reviewer mentioned the walk was really long, but they must have walked from the funicular instead of getting on the shuttle, because it took us less than a minute from the main stop.

Nothing really. The air conditioning was loud at night but I suspect this is normal and unavoidable if you want Air Con in an older, historic building like this one. It wasn't a big deal with ear plugs - it would only be an issue for light sleepers. One suggestion (very small) is to include in the booking.com page that there are hair dryers. I looked it up before leaving home and didn't see a hair dryer mentioned so I brought my own - but it turns out they were there in the property. Would have saved me a bit of space in the luggage. But that's all - we really had no complaints.

Lovely apartment in the historic center of Orvieto, equipped with everything one needs for a stay of more than a few nights. Two bedrooms, a sofa pullout in a third, big kitchen with a dishwasher and living room. The washing machine in the hallway cupboard can be used too. Friendly and helpful hosts.

A few things were missing that would have been helpful, like scissors, a few pieces of information were missing/not current (thermostat cannot be adjusted by the guest, only remote by the host). This are only all minute details though, the place is great.

Just steps away from the center of town. It’s an elegantly restored classic apartment with spectacular views, a well-equipped kitchen, washer and great AC. Both bathrooms have excellent showers and bidets. As is typical of Orvieto, there are 19 steps up to the front door, then 23 more to the apartment so be prepared. We’ve been coming to Orvieto for 11 years so know the city well. This is one of our faves.

Great location within easy walking distance of all the attractions in the city. Friendly and helpful host. Great views from the terrace. Beds were the most comfortable we found in all of our stays in Italy. Clean and tidy showers and bathrooms. Pleanty of space for the 4 of us to enjoy. Lots of cutlery, crockery and utensils in the kitchen.

Air conditioners were a little noisy while trying to sleep, but not a big problem.
