Great place to stay in Orvieto

Great location, spacious, well equipped apartment, quiet, very clean, comfortable bed. We really enjoyed exploring beautiful Orvieto from this location.

Self checkin a bit confusing as the key lockbox is not at the door to the apartment but at the door of another apartment.

Wonderful...we only stayed one night and booked last minute, but our hosts were very receptive and communicative. The stay was just great. It had everything we needed and was spacious, clean and comfortable. Great location in Orvieto.

Close to the Duomo

The location was great. The apartment was well appointed with a comfortable bed. They had water and coffee ☕️ for us which was a plus. They were very responsive with communication. They gave great recommendation for restaurants.

Great find would stay again if I was in Orvieto

Location was fantastic. Room clean and had all necessary facilities. A view of the Duomo whilst on the loo! washing machine available ideal for travelling with carry on cases. Air con which was necessary as the weather was very hot for June! Easy to get the bus to the station. Host was helpful.

Our third time staying here and it's always wonderful ! We had family with us who stayed in the other apartments... centrally located just steps from the Duomo... very clean and comfortable...we shall return !

Well- located and appointed studio apartment in the center of Orvieto.

The owner came out, late at night, to meet us because it was difficult for us to find the parking lot and we were exhausted from traveling. She couldn’t have been nicer. The property was well located, steps away from the Cathedral. The place was clean, quiet and well furnished.

This apartment was very well furnished, comfortable, quiet and very close to everything you want to see. The bed was very comfortable and the views were beautiful. We really appreciate being able to use the washing machine after 1.5 weeks of travel.

Exceptional

First stayed here in 2019 and liked it so much that it was the only place we considered when we returned for a short stay in August '22. Everything you need is here, and the apartment is just a few steps from the remarkably beautiful Duomo (which you can see from the living area and bathroom). Two large bottles of water were waiting for us in the fridge - very welcome after a long journey on a hot day!

The apartment is wonderfully located, just steps down an old, picturesque vicolo — a small paved walkway — from the breath-taking Duomo. While the apartment is located in one of Orvieto’s charming old buildings, inside it was spacious, with modern furnishings, and everything I needed was provided. Valerie and her people were wonderfully responsive any time I had a question about the property and also tried to help me arrange a day trip on my own. Orvieto is a gorgeous little hilltop city, one of my favorites in Italy. It is full of discoveries as you walk along the ancient small streets, offering gorgeous views of the city’s old walls and the beautiful landscape below. One hint: take the Linea C bus for the entire route around the city, up and down the tiny city streets. It is more thrilling than a ride at Disneyland!

These do not qualify as ‘dislikes,’ but are things to know ahead: You can clearly hear conversations of people walking or working outside while you are in the apartment because sound bounces off the historic exterior stone walls and walkways. Also, inside the apartment there are four small steps between the bedroom and the bathroom, in case you have any mobility concerns.

Nice location, very responsive owners! Shower was big and had good water pressure. Strong WiFi signal and Netflix.

Kitchen had separate water for drinking. Not all water could be consumed. it should be noted it is up 15-20 steep stairs

We had a lovely stay in Orvieto. Our host was very welcoming and helpful upon arrival. The apartment is very well appointed, the bed very comfortable, the location is perfect and it was spotlessly clean. It represents superb value for money. We wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. Highly recommended.

Great value for money! Definitely recommend!

Valerie was so nice and attentive. She sent us all the diections and getting the key was very easy (she left it on a safe and gave us the password, since we arrived a bit late in the evening).

The only thing I think it could be improved was the mattress of the bed. It was too soft (bad for us who have back issues). Apart from that, everything was exceptional! We definately recommend the property.
