About this apartment rental

Beautiful apartment completely renovated and elegantly furnished in heart of the city.
The apartment is located in Corso Cavour in Orvieto, a few steps from the cathedral and not far from the main square. Completely renovated in 2014, is arranged on 2 floors: a large and bright open floor plan with arches on the first floor, with kitchen and balcony overlooking the theater Mancinelli and on the second floor two double bedrooms (one bedroom with king size bed and one with the option of 2 single beds) and a bathroom.

Guest Access
The apartment, with separate entrance, is located on the main street, in an area closed to traffic.
Access by car is guaranteed to 15 meters from the entrance.

This lovely apartment is in a perfect location - just minutes from everything. The angle of the short set of stairs was a challenge at first but we quickly got used to them. The kitchen and living areas were comfortable and the bedrooms were quiet with comfy beds. It was fun being in the middle of everything in Orvietto. The host's communication was great as well. We'll stay there again for our next visit.

Incredible location! Beautiful balcony for two to watch the evening strollers. Well equipped with everything you need to cook if needed. Walk out your door and cafes, grocery, restaurants are steps away.

We very much enjoyed our stay at this lovely apartment. It was very spacious and had everything we needed and much, much more. Orvieto is beautiful and this apartment is very central to everything. It's a bit difficult to find parking and we had to walk a long way to get our car but that wasn't too much of a problem. I would definitely stay here again if we return to Orvieto.

The apartment is well-outfitted and extremely comfortable. Its location could not have been better. It is directly across from the theatre and we wanted to stay longer!!!Check in was easy- Roberta helped us arrange a taxi from the train station and even made restaurant and touring suggestions for our stay.I highly recommend this location.

Bright and beautifully renovated property directed across from the Mancinelli Theatre, so perfectly located for easy attendance at Jazz Fest events. Very close to the Pam for groceries and great shopping all along Cavour. I will definitely be booking this spot again.

Valerie was very responsive to any and all needs. The apartment is absolutely beautiful however, the three of us that we’re travelling are all in our mid 70s to early 80s. One person with arthritis issues so the stairs were a bit of a problem for that person. Otherwise, I would highly recommend this apartment and would go back on my own many times over

Wonderful apartment in perfect location central to Orvieto. The two floor accommodation has all the amenities for a great stay, including a balcony with table and chairs overlooking the main street through central Orvieto (quiet street, no traffic allowed). Location is fabulous with easy access to all of Orvieto’s famous attractions. Would definitely stay there again!

Ideal location as you step out onto the medieval streets of Orvieto; you’re walking history of this well preserved town, with so much to explore locally and use Orvieto as your home base exploring beyond as we did. We had comfortable beds; a kitchen with everything we needed; small balcony with views of the streets and below. We ate in little hidden gems, a caffe across the street was great. We E-biked for 7.5 hours one day spending time shopping, eating in Civita, Bagnoregio, Porano, and Lubriano. Cannot say enough great things about our stay it was perfecto. Once you’re situated with Parking with the help of Valerie. Make sure you understand how to use their pay system for parking, can be frustrating not reading the language in the rain😉 Beyond that small glitch, it was absolutely an incredible stay and just not long enough. We would have loved to stay a week. Hopefully next time. Thank you Valerie, you made the beginning of our month in Italy extremely memorable, we very much enjoyed! Grazie!

“Home in Orvieto” was the perfect place for our stay in Orvieto. Modern meets historic in this lovely apartment situated on Orvieto main thoroughfare, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Close to the Duomo and local markets, the location couldn’t be better! We would recommend to anyone visiting, and would love to return.

We originally planned to use Orvieto as our home base to discover Umbria small towns but we fell in love with the city and spent the entire week there. This apartment is perfectly situated to enjoy all the features of the city but let you feel like you are a citizen of it. The kitchen is well enough stocked to let you prepare great meals at home but the numerous outstanding restaurants let you enjoy Italian dishes prepared by others. The apartment is comfortable and the beds fantastic. This wonderful experience has taught us that maybe we don’t need to run all over the place to discover new things but sit back and savour all that one city has to offer. We loved this apartment and Orvieto.

Pictures don’t do this place justice! It is super central in Orvieto. Loved the big space. Bathroom was super functional. A/C worked great. We never turned on the TV and spent all our time around the big kitchen table. Washer came in handy and so nice to have a dish washer. We loved the lively street sounds on the weekend and enjoyed the live band on Friday night. This place may not be the best for people with mobility or balance issues as the stairs are unusual, but we had no issues. We would stay here again for sure!

This is a beautiful apartment in a great location, close to everything! Roberta was very helpful with the check in process and gave us lots of recommendations. It was a little difficult dragging our bags to and from the train station but otherwise, we had no complaints.

Location, Location, Location! As our daughter is a violinist performing in Orvieto, it was our desire to have close proximity to one of the theaters and this apartment is directly across the street from Teatro Manciletti. Perfetto!

One of our favorite VRBO's on our tour of Italy. They did a great job of brining in the old building components into the new upscale apartment. Even a glass floor to see the beautiful stairway! Great kitchen and living area with a balcony overlooking the main pedestrian way. The location to everything could not be better. The bedrooms and bath was very comfortable and the apartment was quiet. Kitchen had everything we need to make a meal and drink a glass of wine in style. The owner was great! She met us showed us the house and explained the best place to park. We would stay here again. We will be back.

Valerie was the ultimate host! She communicated consistently, picked us up at the train station and accommodated us by allowing a late checkout time. The apartment is lovely and has many unique characteristics. She provided details of things to do in Orvieto and had modern conveniences made for a comfy stay. This beautiful apartment was in a perfect location in Orvieto. It was in the center of town and very close to a grocery store a few doors down, as well as restaurants and cafes. Valerie was kind enough to meet us as we arrived and brought us to the apartment to show us around and to go over the highlights in Orvieto. Two large bedrooms with comfortable beds, a roomy shower in the bathroom and plenty of closet space. The kitchen was well equipped. It was nice to have a washer. We enjoyed standing out on the balcony and watching people go by. Although it was in the center of town, it was very quiet! Loved this place. We hope to go back some day!

I cannot overstate how much we loved this place. The apartment is WONDERFUL. It is in the perfect location. Right in the center of town, on the main drag (with a balcony looking over it!) close to everything you want to see. The apartment is immaculately clean, well-appointed and modern, but with nice old accents. Very nice overall. Beds were comfy, there were plenty of plus, wifi was free and worked great, showers had plenty of hot water and good water pressure, and the kitchen was fully stocked. The hostess, Valerie picked us up from the funicular and dropped us back off there at the end of our stay. Very convenient. And she was SO nice and helpful with tips about the town. I will definitely stay here again when I return to Orvieto.

We had a wonderful stay in this lovely apartment. It is the nicest apartment we have stayed in for a long time and the location was great too, being right in the heart of the old town. (Parking is tricky, but that's fine - we left our car parked all the time we were there and explored by foot.) Generally the apartment is very well equipped. The open staircases might be a concern for parents of small children, but they are very stylish, as is everything about the apartment. Very highly recommended.

There was a balcony that faced the theater where we could watch what was happening in the town while sipping wine and listening to the church bells. The owner was a a delight and very helpful to us. It was a pleasure meeting Valerie and her husband when they greeted us at the train station. The location of the apartment couldn't be any better. The view from the apartment windows are amazing. The pictures on the website doesn't do any justice to the modern beauty of this apartment. Very spacious and was impeccable and that is very important to me. The bedrooms very spacious and the bathroom fully accommodating. Orvieto is absoulety stunning and a place to certainly visit. Thank you Valerie for sharing your beautiful home. I will miss Orvieto. Lovely apartment right in the middle of town. It has everything you could need right down to tea and coffee. The owner was very helpful and met us to show the best parking areas and gave helpful hints on what to visit. Would certainly stay here again.

Wir haben wunderbare Tage mitten in Orvieto mit den vielen kulturellen und kulinarischen Angeboten genießen können, wenngleich die Corona-Situation alles etwas gedämpft hat. Alles in allem ein erstklassiges Apartment für Reisende, die das Besondere suchen. Einzige Anmerkung an die Vermieter: Wir kochen ab und zu gerne und hier sollte das Topf- und Pfannenangebot (mit Deckel) verbessert werden. Weiters auch ein schriftlicher Hinweis im Apartment, wie der Abfall zu entsorgen ist.
