Our host opened the gate to the property before we even knocked. He lives on site and was watching for us. We were absolutely delighted with the charm of the apartment and grounds and immediately sent photos to friends. Comfortable bed, lots of thick towels, everything worked great. Lots of thoughtful extras like a coat rack by the door.
Two steps from bedroom to bath, and tiny shower. But that all comes with the territory when you're staying in a house built before anyone had indoor plumbing. Very minor inconvenience compared to the pleasure of being in this sweet place.
