Duomo Luxury Apartment Orvieto

Clean and nice location. Just came from another property that was so gracious that this seemed more of a let down. Not even any coffee for the morning.

The apartment was very nice. Perfect location with a view of the Duomo. The beds were very comfortable.

Beautiful furnishings, old historical building remodeled with contemporary/modern design. Very comfortable and interesting to live in.

No air conditioning

There was no breakfast provided. We loved! The apartment and the decor, it was lovely. The beds were comfortable, furniture was comfortable, I appreciated the shower cap and we loved the location.

amazing! in every way!! beautiful location, furniture, kitchen, bathrooms, everything. absolutely perfect. we could park across the piazza and even drive up to the flat to drop off our luggage. the place is so beautiful and huge and the kitchen is gorgeous. and the location could not be better. we loved this place so much! notes for other travelers: there are stairs with a solid hand rail up to the flat. there are stairs with a solid hand rail up to the bedrooms. the spiral staircase doesn’t take you anywhere so you never need to use it. Orvieto is a walking town, lots of cobblestones and some steps. incredible restaurants and shops. amazing place to stay in every way.

The Apartment is beautiful and has the perfect location in the piazza next to the duomo.. which the owner will remind you about if there is anything else lacking.. it is all about location and not about hospitality.

There were no hand towels or dish towels to use. We reserved the house for 2 nights and ran out of toilet paper on the first afternoon and had to go to the store to buy more. There was no bar soap or shampoo as listed on the site. The worst part was that the bedrooms were SO HOT and there was no way to adjust the heat. If we opened the windows the noise from the piazza and smoke from people lighting off fireworks in the piazza every night made it impossible to sleep. (We stayed there in the summer and there was no AC and it was unbearable). Alessandro told us we had to take out our own trash and made the guest walk across the piazza with her kitchen trash while the cab was waiting. At 600 euros per night you would think that trash would be included in the price after a 2 night stay. No other BnB has required this in the past. The house is beautiful but dealing with the management leaves a bad taste in your mouth and makes it not feel like a holiday. We get it, the location is great, however the hospitality falls short on several counts. Especially when friends stayed nearby and had an AMAZING experience with their host.

We really enjoyed everything! Hopefully we have a return trip.

we actually made the mistake of locking ourselves out while leaving the key in the door. we had left it there for safety the night before. all four of us were locked in the stairwell for an hour. eventually had the fire department get us out.

The location was great! it was in excellent condition.

If you ever have the chance to stay in this apartment, DO! There is nothing not to love ... imagine overlooking the magnificent Orvieto Duomo from the windows of your spacious, elegant 'home', or waking up to see the surrounding piazza slowly come to life. There's a large comfortable living/dining room with another big table in the kitchen at the back, where we tended to gather (access to the coffee pot making up for a less dramatic view!). The location is also great for easy access to the whole town.

Visiting during the scorching heat of August, we were initially concerned about the absence of air-conditioning - but sticking to our host's advice to keep the place cool the old-fashioned way (ie by closing the shutters against the fierce hours of sun) and occasionally running the little bedside fans worked just fine.

Ottima posizione ed appartamento molto ampio

Da un appartamento "Luxury" mi aspetto ben altro come servizi. 1 bottiglietta d'acqua, almeno un paio di caffè disponibili, shampoo e bagnoschiuma nel bagno, dei cuscini in più.

O apartamento é lindo, espaçoso , muito bem decorado e cada detalhe mostra o cuidado e o bom gosto do anfitrião. Pela janela do quarto e da sala, temos a vista maravilhosa da Duomo de Orvieto.
