Charming apartment, good location and friendly hostess, but the bed and towels were uncomfortable.
The hostess Roberta was absolutely lovely. The apartment was charming, location very good. Balcony was lovely. We only stayed one night and didn't have time to use the balcony, but I wish we had.
Truthfully not very comfortable for us. The bed was uncomfortable, very hard. The worst thing was that the towels were very thin, rough, and scratchy. My husband who doesn't normally complain said they were like sandpaper. We wanted to love this apartment, but with the lack of comfort we were glad we were only staying one night.

Bathed in sunshine, cute, it’s worth a stop over!
A perfect own night stop for our little family in cute Orvieto! The apartment was clean, roomy enough, the double bed was comfortable as well as the single one, our girls slept well in the sofa bed. The bathroom was spacious however the shower might challenge to tall people. We did not cook there but the kitchen seemed to have to basic cooking needs. It was quiet and we really enjoyed sitting in the terrace. So quiet and sunny. The French door let the sunshine come inside and it was so nice to wake up bathed in such a light! Roberta was reactive, very helpful, kind and easy to talk to. We would come back.

Casa Flavia has an excellent location, very near to all that Orvieto has to offer including a very close proximity to the spectacular duomo! The apartment is very charming and is a wonderful and romantic example of Italian style and culture! It is a large one bedroom apartment with full kitchen, living and dining. The bedroom is spacious with a magnificent terrace overlooking gardens and distant views of Orvieto! It is a very lovely and affordable stay in one of the best hill towns in Italy!
