Our best experience in Italy was staying at La Piazzetta; enjoyed all activities offered in Orvieto

Nadia is a gracious host. She wanted us to relax, feel comfortable in her B&B and explore her city with curiosity. All were possible because we had a spacious room, clean accommodations, access to the shared kitchen and a private terrace that was a perfect place to relax. We were steps away from the pulse of Orvieto but it was a quiet respite. Loved the variety of activities available to us.

We weren’t aware of the parking restrictions prior to arriving. We didn’t understand the signage so we didn’t follow the road directions accurately and didn’t know the best parking option for us was the underground Via Roma parking garage.

Lovely, spotless, large room rental with charming host who would help with anything you needed. Our room had a terrace and a super large bathroom, comfy bed and great location about an7 minute walk to the funicular and then train station. We only wished we could have stayed longer

I typically stay at AirBnBs that are a private apartments and, while the room was private with an amazingly large bathroom, I felt bad coming and going at early/late hours. I also would have welcomed more light next to the door to enter the room.

A real gem of a place - great location, great accommodations, a friendly family-run place.

The location was ideal - close enough to the center of town, but far enough away from the crowds (not that anything is very far away in Orvieto). Immaculately clean, spacious, and well furnished - modern, yet comfortable, decor.

Lovely Room and Wonderful Host

I loved my stay in this very cute and spacious room that had a great location right in the center of town, but was quite peaceful. The whole place was spotless. It had a large bathroom and the shower was great. A/C worked well. I really enjoyed the private terrace surrounded by lots of greenery but with a lovely open view where I could spend the hot afternoons reading and watching the birds fly overhead. The bed was so comfortable. I enjoyed the water and cookies in the room, and there is also a shared kitchen with a fridge and the ability to make coffee or tea. Nadia was so friendly and welcoming and helped me lug my heavy suitcase up the 10 steps to the entrance. She also provided a map highlighting the best things to see. Such a lovely and accommodating host, who always responded quickly and sent me helpful messages throughout my stay. It's about a 10-minute walk from the funicular station, but there is a steady incline so it took me twice as long dragging all my heavy luggage. Going down was super easy!

The location is excellent, making it easy to explore the town on foot, and everything I needed was close by. The staff was warm and welcoming, adding a personal touch that made the stay feel even more comfortable. My main criteria were all met: The bed was very comfortable, and I slept well each night. The shower had strong water pressure and consistent hot water—always a plus. The WiFi was reliable and fast, perfect for staying connected or getting a bit of work done. If you're looking for a friendly, well-located place that covers all the essentials, I highly recommend this spot.

The host Nadia is exceptional. She led me through the property, the sights to see and visit in Orvieto as well as where to eat and what to order. The room is pleasant, clean and well provisioned. The kitchen was well equipped for making coffee and teas.

Great location and very quiet.

The property is well located in the town, with excellent restaurants in the immediate area. The room size was good and the air-conditioning was excellent. We liked the large shower. The location was exceptionally quiet. We were able to park our car in a locked area for a fee of 10 EUR a day. The owner and her son were exceptionally helpful in helping with our bags and advising us on the best restaurants etc.

We had difficulty finding the property as Google Maps kept trying to take us down streets which were for pedestrians only. We ended up parking the care and found a local gentlemen who very kindly walked us to the property. The owner's son then walked back to the car and he drove us his location. We wish there were 2 pillows per person.

We had a wonderful stay in Orvieto despite the weather being a bit cold.

The host was exceptional. She had a last minute plumbing issue on our original room and she moved us to a 2 bedroom apartment with a full kitchen. In addition, the host worked tirelessly to fix a wifi issue. We appreciated all of the communication. She was so kind. Our stay was perfect

Comfort and charm.

This was comfortable and charming. The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. It was only three rooms so very quiet and it was very close to the centre of town.

There was nothing I didn’t like. There is a room with a patio which would have been lovely, although it was already booked. If possible, I would book that room.

The loveliest little apartment! The host was so kind and everything was super clean and cozy. I felt at home at once as soon as I walked in. All of the bathroom fixtures seemed new or near new. So grateful for the chance to stay here and would absolutely recommend for anyone visiting the charming town of Orvieto. ❤️

It’s a very good place to stay for a few days, and it’s has all a traveler needed. Nadia is very nice and friendly and helpful. she wants to make sure you are comfortable and have anything you need. The apartment is very clean and comfortable and spacious, it looks new and all the facilities functions well. And the TV! I can watch YouTube and Netflix on the tv.

Peaceful and Charming

The location is perfect, easy to walk from the funicular with your bag and also in the middle of it all. Nadia and her family keep a tidy and sweet 3 room guest house in an ancient palace. It is quiet, perfectly clean and the rooms are spacious and generous. You have a kitchen if you choose to make coffee or anything but why do that in this food town? Nadia and her daughter and husband could not have been more helpful and polite. I will certainly choose to stay here again.
