Perfect location, great parking

Fantastic location, just steps from the Duomo. Easy parking outside the ZTL. Grateful staff, very friendly and helpful. Especially Alessia who gave us several fantastic restaurant recommendations. Very clean, very spacious room. Great storage. Shower and good size bathroom. Nice breakfast, plenty of choice and everything was always very fresh.

I found the bed and pillows very uncomfortable, both too hard for me. And it would have been nice to have a couple of proper glasses in the room, all we had were paper cups.

Very nice and clean hotel with someone at front desk all day for assistance. Over the top breakfast with many options. Great location with private and secure parking a plus. Shout out to the young girl who works the front desk. Super friendly and helpful.

It was good for what we needed.

The hotel is very nice and the staff was great - especially the people at breakfast. The breakfast was delicious. We were in a room in the annex and it was very small and no elevator so you have to carry your luggage up the steps but the price was very reasonable.

Great location, helpful staff.

The hotel is right in the center of town with easy foot access to everything. The breakfast was good with excellent coffee. The room was large with wonderful windows. The staff were very helpful.

As often happens the laundry and seems cleaning products had fragrance that was overwhelming to me. I know many enjoy scented linens and rooms, but I prefer no fragrance.

An oasis within an oasis

The people who own and work at the hotel are very nice and helpful. The small hotel is located close to the Duomo and other local sights. Orvieto is a lovely, small city and the hotel is situated in the hub.

Stay superb — hotel delightful — service outstanding. Stumbled on Hotel Duomo in Orvieto for one night and got a pleasant annex room at a fair price, but what made it unforgettable was the human touch. Alessia was extraordinary: after I mentioned a bad meal in Rome she personally recommended a local gem she attends, and when the Wi-Fi failed she tirelessly troubleshot it — then upgraded me to a gorgeous room in the main hotel when the issue couldn’t be fixed. If you go, ask for Alessia — Alessia è una dea!

Fabulous traditional small hotel in picturesque Orvieto!

Traditional small, family run hotel. All staff were very welcoming and helpful. The location is right in the centre of beautiful Orvieto, opposite the Duomo. The room was comfortable and clean, with older style furnishings and quirky artwork. The room was so quiet at night, considering the central location. Delicious breakfast in the small dining room, especially the home made cakes. Definitely recommend staying here.

Good location and parking lot relatively close by

Staff allocated us to the annexe before realising their error. Alot of unnecessary lugging of suitcases as a result. Our room was located next to the main air conditioning equipment which caused some unpleasant noise

Good value and tasty breakfast close to Duomo

Literally a few steps from the Duomo. Excellent location from which to explore the city. Breakfast buffet was ample, fresh, and tasty. Staff was helpful and kind. I stayed at the "dependence," about 100 meters around the corner from the main hotel. Three guest rooms, one on each floor, no elevator. Large enough to do yoga in the morning and not bump into anything! Photos were accurate.

Outstanding stay at Hotel Duomo!

Hotel Duomo was in the perfect location with access to the Duomo up one flight of stairs. The breakfast was delicious.

The only very small issue was not having all rooms in the same building. One of our rooms was in a building down the road from the main building.

Fantastic location - right next to the Duomo. Friendly, professional staff. Nice big room. Very quiet. Clean. Comfortable bed. Good water pressure. Great breakfast with lots of gluten free options. Paid parking lot was close by and a little challenging to get into (very tiny streets!) but staff was very helpful.

The shower enclosure leaked and got a ton of water on the floor, soaking the bath mat through every time we showered. The tile floor felt a little sticky, I think from cleaning fluid not from being dirty, but they did provide nice free slippers so I can't complain too much!

A lovely short stay in the hill town of Orvieto

Great location close to the Duomo and the bus stop that runs a circular route from the funicular station to the piazza Duomo. So we were able to arrive by train , transfer to the funicular , straight onto the bus and short walk to hotel, all very convenient. The room was large , high ceilings and with lots of room for suitcases etc and with a wardrobe, desk TV (with BBC news). The hotel has a convenient garden seating area and the reception also has a guest seating area which is good for getting better WiFi reception which tended to be a bit hit and miss in the room. The staff were friendly. Breakfast was included in our booking and was excellent.

Nice hotel in a medieval hill town.

Orvieto is a hilltop town in Umbria, mostly empty in the off-season, above the train station. The tram and bus left us a couple hundred yards of cobblestone from the hotel. The hotel was nice enough, and the proprietors gracious and helpful. Our large room included a balcony and a view of the cathedral.

We have nothing for this section, other than the wifi was limited and sketchy at best. Breakfast was okay for a small hotel, and they made the coffee to order. Thin walls and noisy neighbors (obliviously over-sharing intimacies) were not necessarily the fault of the hotel.
