We felt special and cared for and invited into what felt like a home - both at La Magnolia B&B and throughout the vi

La Magnolia and Serena were as. Harming as Orvieto itself. Quaint, kind, welcoming. We enjoyed 2 restful nights and a wonderful day. Despite getting rain almost the entire time, the stay felt warm and restful. We walked, ate, shopped, learned and simply enjoyed our time so very much. We will be back and will stay at La Magnolia again!!

We loved La Magnolia in Orvieto. The location was fabulous - right on a narrow central cobblestone street with restaurants and cafes. Very close to the cathedral.The apartment had a well equipped kitchen, dining, and sitting area. The bedroom was roomy with modern bath. Even though the location was central with lots of street activity, the room was quiet with excellent oversized double windows.The staff was friendly and the breakfast provided was excellent. Very satisfying. We highly recommend this BandB.

What a little gem! First time In orvieto and stayed here with a friend. Beds were comfortable and bathroom was very spacious! Loved the views from the window and the location was PERFECT! we enjoyed the morning breakfast served in the cafe downstairs. Very nice options and great coffee. The woman who greeted us at check in was very kind! Yes... there are stairs up but our bags were not too heavy - may be harder for some but they helped with my friend's bag - Loved seeing the cat throughout the day! This felt like staying at a nice warm and welcoming home as opposed to a hotel - It was cozy and lovely - simple, clean, lovely

La Magnolia was perfect for our 2 day stay in Orvieto!

The location was perfect near the Duomo and the Corso with it's adorable shops and restaurants. The room was spacious and the breakfast was simple but adequate with meats, cheeses, yogurt, fruit and pastries.

Homely, Central Accommodation in a Fascinating and Friendly Town

Light and welcoming rooms, friendly staff and locals, simple and enjoyable breakfast. Location in the heart of Orvieto close to the duomo, underground tour and restaurants. Walkable from the funicular, but there is also a bus to and from the nearby tourist centre and duomo

a great stay in a great location.

We were on the 3rd floor and had a balcony. It was wonderful to sit outside in the sun and enjoy the view. One of the building beside us was being reno'd but not noisy at all. Apartment was large, had full kitchen and was very clean. There was free parking and was in a great location for walking the town.

Being on the 3rd floor there were lots of stairs, but we knew this and chose to get upgraded to the top. So a good workout.

Owner/ Manager was an excellent communicator who could communicate in English. She messaged with check - in details and checked up on our satisfaction after checking in. All new charming and renovated apartments (available for single+ night stays or long term) or single rooms. Apartment kitchens well stocked. New bathrooms and WATER PRESSURE WAS EXCELLENT. Beds were comfortable and apartments were warm and inviting with customized homey & stylish feel that was fresh and bespoke. Tasteful. VERY QUITE & WELL LOCATED. I would return for another stay.

You will have to climb a flight of stairs, but thats Italy! I didn’t mind, but beware that there is no lift/ elevator. Owner carried our bags which was very kind of her.

Beautifu and well appointed with kind hosts!

The property has a beautiful view and is well appointed.Serena greeted us and insisted to help us up the stairs with our luggage. We were on the top floor and had the nicest little terrace with a view of the hills over the rooftops. We were only there for one night but this terrace made me want to stay for much longer. There is a well equipped kitchen for longer stays.

DO NOT use Google Maps to drive to the hotel adres in the main shopping street, unless you have a very small compact car - you end up in very narrow alleys with just a few inches of space. Call the hotel in advance before you start to drive to park at their off-site parking lot.

The location was great, on the main street to the duomo, close to all the attractions. The room was actually , a whole apartment including kitchen, leaving room and bedroom, decorated very nice. The breakfast fine not outstanding.

Advertised as having parking. When we arrived, we were told that we had to reserve in advance, which was never communicated. Staff not helpful, it cost an additional 20 euros for the car, making the cost not so great for the value. Very disappointed at staff response.

We knew there wasn’t an elevator, but we weren’t prepared for how long the stairway was to the first floor - 2 stories in American buildings (we’re almost 80!). It was only a problem when we had our luggage.

We were moved to spacious apartment across the street from La Magnolia because they had a problem with the bath. We really appreciated the La Magnolia owner keeping us informed and having someone meet us to show us the room. The Apartment was beautiful and spacious. Communication with us was excellent, Thank You!

Many steps up to second floor were a bit hard for us . Shower is very small. But most importantly, there needs to be a handrail on the steps coming down from the elevated bedroom to the main level where the bathroom is located. Only 3 steps, but black and steep.

Great location near the Cathedral and major attractions like Orvieto Underground, museums, and the main shopping street but also with easy access to the old parts of town and less-frequented sites. It was easy to return to the room if necessary and get right back to the day's activities. Buffet breakfast at the bar was also very good with ample choices of breads, meats, cheese, and croissants. Stella provided good nearby restaurant recommendations and there were plenty of snacking opportunities in the area.

Wi-fi was a bit weak and inconsistent in our room.

We were fortunate to have a small apartment, complete with kitchen, living room, bedroom, huge bath and a private balcony. What made our stay exceptional was our hostess, who provided us with many tips on dining in Orvieto.
