Cheerful apartment in a very interesting and historic town

This was a great apartment for the three of us - one very spacious master bedroom and an additional bedroom area. Very nicely equipped kitchen for simple meals, and a grocer two doors down. Everything was clean and worked well and more than anything was just very warm and welcoming and bright. The location was great, and right by their Duomo and museums and restaurants of this historic town. So glad we visited and we definitely want to return!

A magical place to take a relaxing break.

We had the apartment to ourselves, the layout of the bedrooms does not lend itself to sharing with another couple. The property was cool, spacious and clean.

We would have liked a balcony where we could sit out. Being on the Main Street to Duomo, it was noisy until very late at night.

Location is great, in the centre of the city. Apartment is charming. Everything was perfect. Ideal for young couples.

People should be aware that there are stairs to get to the apartment which can be problem for elderly od disabled person. Also there is no air-condition which is not a big problem, but you need to have open windows and it is very loudly outside (which is normal because that is center of the city), so don’t expect to sleep before 1am.

wonderful little apartment in an excellent location.

The apartment is in an excellent location close to the cathedral and many restaurants. Breakfast is available at the bistro and was delicious. My husband left his wallet behind when we checked out and the staff very kindly posted it to us when it was found.

Superb

The owners of the property made us very welcome from the onset and met us near to their apartment, helped with parking. The location was fantastic. The accomodation was clean, the facilities in it were brilliant.

The second bedroom was really the lounge, and although the sofa bed was really comfortable, it was awkward because the couple in the proper bedroom had to walk through the lounge/second bedroom to get to the bathroom which had no lock on it. Perfect for families, not so good for two couples.

Great stay, Orvietto is magical

The flat is just in the historical part of Orvietto with easy reach of shops, restaurants. It offers all the comfort anyone may need. The kitchen has all the utensils, basic ingredients needed to prepare a simple dish but as we were staying only for a night we decided to eat out in a nearby restaurant that is also run by the owner of the flat. Very good food (of Michelin star quality as was my husband's high praise :-) ) and very good value for money, we highly recommend to drop by. Orvietto itself is a very picturesque town and is worth staying for a couple of days as there is a lot to see in the town or in the neighbour-hood. Sabrina (owner of the flat) is very friendly, speaks very good English and was very helpful in finding us a car park space which can be quite challenging as it is very hard to find a free spot in the town itself. We had a great time and would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is thinking in stopping in Orvietto :-)

A bit challenging to drive in the narrow streets but that is a common thing in majority of Italian towns that are located on the top of a hill

Exceptional in Orvieto

Sabrina and her team has attended to every detail with care and a careful eye for contemporary design. Our group opted in for breakfast and it beautifully served. The apartment is above Sabrina’s bottega and enoteka and a visit to these should be on every visitor’s agenda; they are excellent. Having access to nearby enclosed parking is a huge plus in a medieval city best enjoyed on foot.

There is nothing not to like about the property. Visitors should just be aware that staying in the city center is an urban experience, with municipal service noise ( street-cleaning, etc.) occurring in the mornings.

Comodo, carino e centralissimo

L’appartamento era piccino ma super confortevole. La cucina era fornita di tutto l’occorrente ed eravamo in posizione centrale e comoda, a 200 mt dal Duomo. Lo staff è stato molto gentile e disponibilissimo. Abbiamo usufruito del parcheggio giornaliero molto comodo.

Il Wi-Fi era un po’ debole ma in tutta la zona il telefono prende poco.

Tutto eccellente!!! Posizione ottimale al centro di Orvieto! Consiglio per chiunque voglia visitare la città con calma e rimanere una notte!

L’unica cosa che migliorerei sono materasso e cuscini… ma è soggettiva la cosa in quanto io preferisco il materasso duro come la roccia, e il cuscino in memory foam…per il resto tutto eccellente!

Excellent accommodation

Excellent emplacement. Non loin de l'arrêt de bus et à proximité de tous les sites. L'appartement était extrêmement propre, chaud et bien équipé. Le funiculaire et le bus pour la gare permettent de visiter facilement les environs (Chiusi, par exemple).

Le problème avec Orvieto en janvier est que la plupart des restaurants sont fermés et que certains sites ont des heures très limitées. La plupart sont fermés pendant la semaine,(google a écrit qu'ils étaient ouverts). Casa Vera a un restaurant, Cantina Vera, qui est très bon (ouvert le week-end).
