The building is clean and the staff very welcoming. It is an old convent, but they have done a wonderful job with the rooms. The rooms are spacious and we had a lovely view of the buildings. You are given a code as the front door is always locked and you can come and go as you please. It is located near a square with many options for dinner or coffee. It is about a 10 minute walk to the Basilica and you have many shops and restaurants along the way. They offer a buffet breakfast with toast, yogurt, cereal and a variety of cakes as well as tea and coffee. It’s a quiet building which is nice after being out all day. They offer parking on site in a gated area. If you are in the area and need a place to stay, this is a lovely spot and you will not be disappointed.

We stayed for 4 days 3 nights. The facility is located just outside of one of the squares and within short walking distance of several places to eat. The rooms were clean although a little out dated. Breakfast was simple and would have been more enjoyable if allowed to share with other guest. Rita is a true asset to the running of the business and treats everyone like family. I’d give it a 9 on a 1-10 scale.

What can i say? This is a superb place to stay! We arrived after navigating Centro and xaught a staff member entering the property...she helped get our car to the on-site parking!!!! Service was wonderful, the place was clean as can be, and location is excellent. Inclyded breskfast was good, too. Can walk to everything Centro! I can't recommend highly enough!!!!

The Sisters were very welcoming and kind. My room was larger than expected and had a lovely view of the rooftops. Light and airy. Spotlessly clean. No complaints. Quiet, which I appreciate. Very well situated so that walking in the historic city is very easy. Lovely terrace overlooking the garden . Someone has a knack for tending plants . For those of you who are Catholic , or not, there is a small chapel available next to front door with the tabernacle there . I would recommend to anyone wanting a peaceful and lovely place to rest.

The gardens are beautiful and peaceful. The room was clean and comfortable. They had the best coffee machine we saw on a long trip. The location is great, right next to the Piazza de Popolo. We would gladly stay there again.

Very welcoming staff. Rita was particularly helpful and speaks English. The nuns were very welcoming. My room on 4th floor overlooking the garden was spacious with a double bed. The entire building was clean, safe and quiet. I would highly recommend this convent.

It was more than amazing! There are three nuns constantly servicing the hotel, but one woman spoke fluent English, as we do, and we called her Saint Rita. She was phenomenal and tended to our every need!! Location was great, immaculate rooms, and magnificent views.

Very basic but squeaky clean convent. Limited housekeeping but within acceptable limits. Staff are dedicated, helpful and professional. The premises are a mixture of basic and awesome, the roof terrace is a joy as are the gardens and the two reading rooms, the upper one is more like a state audience hall. Great place to spend a rainy day. The price proposition is unbelievable and the location could not be better despite the small size of the town.

Very comfortable, thanks for the A/C, big bathroom, breakfast was perfect, staff were excellent. I would recommend that the instructions for arriving very clearly state in English that the funicolare is not open late and no taxis are available late. Clear instructions in English for how/where to catch the shuttle bus to get to the accommodation and whether payment is required would be EXTREMELY helpful after a long day of travel to get to Orvieto. We were slightly panicked, but then by the grace of God a shuttle bus pulled in across the street and we quickly ran over with our luggage so as not to miss it. The driver told us he was going to the Duomo, and we had to walk with our luggage from there. We didn’t understand whether there was a charge at all for the shuttle bus, but the driver told us we didn’t have to pay.
