Great start to our walking holiday. Thanks.

Lovely, comfortable, quiet room with a window seat to enjoy the view out over Fistral beach. Quiet area but only 10 minutes walk to all of the shops and cafes/bars in Newquay. Easy walk to a choice of beaches. Car parking nearby and right on the coast path. Friendly, helpful staff.

We knew when we booked that there was no breakfast, so not a criticism, but a breakfast option would probably be an additional benefit for the guest house.

A night away in a very arty guesthouse in a great location with a wonderful host.

Amazing host. Amazing artwork. Plenty of amazing artifacts to look at. We stayed in the Elvis room. We are not massive fans but enjoyed the style and were comfortable. The creative interior theme is throughout the guesthouse.

Lighting options were quite bright, some warmer less intense lighting would be a welcome improvement. Bathroom door kept opening. Musky smell in hallway. no free or subsidised parking.

Great location, homely feel, wonderful owners, excellent place to stay

Loved my stay here. Had a homely feel, in a great location and Lucy was a wonderful host. The bed and room were super comfy and clean, and had a great view down to the sunset and Fistral Beach. Very happily enjoyed my stay here and would easily stay again if I returned to Newquay.

Lovely and quirky

Lovely and clean. Great views of the gold of the golf course and Fistal Beach. Hot drink making facilities and biscuits. Even beach towels provided if needed. Hosts supplied lots of information too. A great little find.

Best Guesthouse in Newquay!

Beautiful, light airy room with comfortable bed and wonderful views. Kevin is a lovely, friendly host. Superb location.

It’s very minor but perhaps a heated rail for the towels. They were hard to dry although there is a heater in there so we could have asked how to switch it on!

Disappointing

Booking .com did not make it clear that this guest house did not provide breakfast. Room was well maintained.

Lack of breakfast , dining room , lounge which meant not meeting the other guests or even the proprietors during the week.

From the off, both Lucy & Kevin were responsive, informative and truly welcoming. A perfect property in a brilliant location. Quiet, clean, spacious and a homely feel. Very lucky to find this place, especially during August bank holiday. We’ll be back!

Fabulous and comfortable room and a tour of the other rooms at check out! Beautifully and quirkily decorated. Great views of Fistral Beach… The hosts were lovely and very helpful - and there were Tunnocks Caramel bars, a kettle and a coffee machine in the room

Fantastic location, right next to Fistral beach with a beautiful view of the sea. Hosts were really welcoming and made us feel very at home. Room was tended to whenever we needed it. We absolutely loved the room, the style was great, it was perfect for what we needed, lovely and clean! We would highly recommend and would love to come and stay again!

Lovely guest house, perfect location.

Lovely guest house in perfect location, beach was a 5 min walk.Lucy & Kevin were lovely hosts. We stayed in one of the rooms on the top floor, great size with quirky decor, bed was super comfy and room was immaculately clean. Will look to stay again when we return next year =)

Perfect property in the perfect location for Newquay ☺️

The location was perfect-and super quiet as well considering it was on a main road to a car park. The room and property as a whole were quirky and stunning. The little extras in the room like the record player and daily chocolate bars were fabulous! Kevin was incredibly friendly and could not do enough for us, but left us to it as well so gave us space. We can recommend here enough and 100% will be booking for next time we’re back in Newquay!

Great quirky room, kind and accommodating hosts, really enjoyed our trip!

Nice quirky room, staff even helped us upstairs with our bags which was a nice touch! Also let us check out an hour late on our last night which was very kind! I would make a few minor adjustments to the room but they would be very minor.. Overall a good stay!

Loved our one night stay ;-) Lovely views from bedroom window….brill! Lucy & Kevin, genuinely looked after all our needs…big thank you to you both :-)) Found off street parking in area. Plenty car parking in area too….top hill - Danes St long stay car park… (£6.30 for 24hr stay) . Great location for us…Fisteral Beach , harbour, Town Beach, pubs, places to eat & shop…all with in walking distance.

Fabulous!

Unbelievable location, 5 mins walk from Fistral beach and only a couple minutes further to town. Lovely lovely hosts, clean spacious room and a gorgeous view over Newquay and some of the beaches when you wake up in the morning. Free parking on street outside or only a few pounds to stay overnight on the car park at the top of the road. Can’t recommend enough, would definitely come back!

The location was perfect — close to everything but still peaceful, with a beautiful sea view that made it even more special. The decor was super cool and stylish, and the place felt really spacious and well thought out. Loved the little touches like the daily chocolate and the coffee machine — they made it feel extra welcoming. Everything was spotless and comfy, and you can tell a lot of love has gone into the space. Would 100% stay again!

The only slight ‘negative’—if you can call it that—was the hill up to the property, which is on the steeper side, and the room I stayed in was up two flights of stairs. Maybe it’s just a sign I should hit the gym, haha! It’s absolutely manageable, but worth keeping in mind if you’re arriving with heavy luggage. Think of it as a mini workout with a lovely reward at the top!

Great location with see view. Golf course just next to the place.

I have met the owner who was very friendly and showed us the room in person. He also leaves at the same place. Room was very clean and had all needed things. Plus tv was a bonus having free Netflix account for guests.

It might be a bit harsh but I think that price was a bit too high for the room.

Absolute gem of a find!

We absolutely loved our stay - so much so we added an extra day! The room was amazing, so quirky and stylish and more importantly comfortable. We had everything we needed and more! Can’t wait to return!

I would have liked more sockets in the room as there wasn’t one near to the mirror for drying my hair. I would have also liked a larger mirror for when getting ready.
