The bed in the hotel was reasonably comfortable and there was a nice view of the sea through the hotel bedroom window.

I didn't have a private bathroom and there could sometimes be a bit of noise from the rear of the adjoining property at bedtime.

The property is located at a very good place, right in front of Fistral Beach, where you can walk from behind the property and follow a path straight to the beach 🙌🏽

Very good value budget en-suite accommodation

Very good value budget en-suite accommodation in a period house, tranquil location at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac road, with sea view and free street parking. Clean, comfortable beds and towels, with thoughtful touches such as kettle, complimentary tea/coffee sachets, tissues, hand soap and plenty of toilet rolls. Spar, Sainsburys, town, harbour and beaches in both directions all within short walking distances. Westward facing patio with picnic benches, ideal for eating takeaway food bought back from town at the end of the day and watching the sun set over the sea. Kind and helpful host. Would definitely return, thank you!

Amazing location, little footpath to the beach next to the hotel. Very friendly host. Super clean rooms, super cheap beer . Lovely ecofriendly soaps. They are very concerned to have ecofriendly cleaning products.

Closer to the beach at a cheaper price.

The hospitality from the host was great.

The major issue we had is that there were 3 bunk beds in a single room which can accommodate 6 people. But the condition of the mattress is not good. Apart from that the washroom is very small and not cant cater to the needs to 6 people in a single room.

Great view but facilities are a bit substandard

The view over the golf course to the sea from the bay window is fantastic. It's warm, quite spacious and quiet, which is all good. The host is very friendly.

The host is very friendly. However, we found the interior to be very basic and felt like a student accommodation. Things like water kettle and mugs w were small and cheap, not justifying the price. Parking spaces are limited outside ( street parking ) so it can be an issue, and you may end up driving around to find a seemingly safer place to leave your car overnight if your car is rather nice.

I loved everything about the property. It had great views over the sea, a very nice and interesting owner, a quiet location at the end of a street with an easy walk to the centre of town. The rooms were endearing and practical with views towards the sea, and all that at a great price.

there are a few stairs you have to climb if your room is located on the top floor, not a big deal though.

The accomodation was very quiet the seaview and access to the surfing beach in just over 5 mins was amazing. Hotel pretty much has the best views In Newquay. With a convenient sparvconvenie 30y away also with cashpoint and cheap drinks at hotel a group of friends or a couple could have very nice relaxing time with the sunset dead ahead.. very romantic . The man who checked us in was affable and friendly And gave us a few hints and tips.. top notch place for anyone who wants the room really just for sleep. Can't fault this great hidden gem.

A good place to stay

The staff is adorable. We were super well welcomed. The location is really good, close to the beach, close to the city center. You can reach both by walking. The view from the room is AMAZING. We were a bit afraid as we would have to share the bathroom but was totally fine.

the room is a bit small for a large group, we were in 4. But totally ok, comfortable, and clean.

The location was amazing and easy access to all places in Newquay.

We booked a room which had two bunk beds, this is suppose to be an adult only hotel but the beds where definitely children sized beds, there where also scribbles on the beds from “2008” when we are now in “2021” it was very outdated and the room was a lot smaller then it looked on pictures. Just about enough room to get ready and there was only two of us never mind their being four people in the room.
