We received an incredibly warm welcome upon arrival. Paul was always very helpful with everything. There was an incredibly lovely family-like atmosphere at breakfast. Since we spent our first and last nights in Cornwall here, we were already looking forward to our last night of our trip. Excellent hosts and a comfortable rest for a weary traveller

Very spacious, clean comfortable room and nice and quiet at the back of the house. Paul and Chantelle were fantastic hosts …. Paul even gave me a long lift to my car . Thanks guys…. See you in the spring on my return

A convenient spot if walking the south west coast path with very helpful and friendly owners.

The owners were lovely and very friendly and helpful. The porridge was yummy.

Our room was at the top of the guesthouse with lots of stairs. However, the owner was great and carried them up and down.

Perfect location to explore

The personal touch and friendliness of the owner. Took time to chat to and offer suggestions for things to do and places to go. Having parking was a bonus. The breakfast was really nice fresh, tasty and made to order.

Brilliant overnight stay in Newquay whilst walking the coast path.

This B&B goes the extra mile. Lovely little touches like an Alexa, beach towels, an honesty bar with very reasonable drinks. The hosts were so lovely, nothing too much trouble. Also a great breakfast and it was so reasonable.

Excellent hotel; Friendly and very helpful staff. Location was very convenient to the train station and downtown restaurants. Hotel was very clean with the cooked to order breakfast excellent!

Fantastic location in the heart of Newquay. The room was very clean, well-equipped (including a fridge!), comfortable, and tastefully decorated. Delicious breakfast and a super-friendly, helpful host. We were 100% satisfied – highly recommended!

A beautiful guesthouse in a central location

Absolutely loved everything. For a guesthouse it was so snuggly for a good nights sleep and so so cosy and homely.. I loved how clean this guest house was and how hospitable the owners were. The breakfast was fantastic- a lovely cooked breakfast before you started a long day. They have a communal area if you want to chill out- we did not use it as we were busy but there is somewhere else for you to chill if you don’t want to stay in your room. This is one of the top guesthouses I’ve been to in the country not just Newquay.Hot water, great bed and spacious.

Great guest house. Great hosts. Great location!

The guest house was wonderful. Even better than I expected! I don’t think the photos do it justice. The hosts were so friendly, helpful and accommodating! They helped with parking and had a great lounge where we could get a coffee or alcoholic drink. Excellent value for money. When we visit Newquay again we’ll definitely be back!

I ordered omelette for breakfast which was cooked lovely. Friendly environment in the breakfast room, My room was cosy and very clean, for me its very important as i suffer OCD and was quiet actually its exactly what I needed after a tough year..

There wasnt anything really that I didn't like, the only thing was the WiFi code wouldn't connect to my phone, maybe it was my phone but its a brand new Samsung model from February 2025, but it wasnt an issue though as i have my own data..

A perfect stay. Totally refurbished property, lovely Couple Hosting, Breakfast set us up for the day. Parking close by and Location at the start of the main Shops and general walk through. Didn't need the car once. Will stay again.

Fabulous find in the heart of Newquay!

A fabulous b&b right in the heart of Newquay - close to all shops, bars and restaurants and beaches. Such lovely and hospitable owners, made me feel very welcome and I will return again. Lovely room with a small fridge which always comes in handy and an amazing cooked breakfast.

Perfect, welcoming, Homely

The host offered to pick me up when stranded at a station half an hour away. Travelling on my own and missing family made me feel at home, was warm, welcoming and funny. The place is a gem, clean, lovely laid out, revamped, homely and thoroughly enjoyed my brief stay. Home from home. Absolutely gutted my mate booked up let’s say.. another hotel for the rest of my stay, thank you so much again. Was lovely to meet you chat to you. Breakfast was top notch too. Recommending this place to all my friend s and family back home! Thanks James

Excellent value in Newquay

Central location, near railway station. Exceptionly lovely hosts, friendly and helpful. Good freshly cooked breakfast, plenty of cereal and toast. 1pm check in a real bonus when walking, enabled full enjoyment of beach on arrival.

Unfortunately, we had a room facing the road and the weather was hot. So it was noisy until past midnight as we had to have the window open. When returning, we will ask for a room at the back.

Outstanding B&B

Perfect location for our trip just a short walk into centre of Newquay. The B&B had very modern decor which was outstanding, very clean and tidy. Breakfast was extremely good. Paul and Chantelle were the perfect hosts, very kind and helpful. Parking was a short distance from the B&B, we were given a parking permit for a small charge.

Bathroom a little small, not a big fan of the sink in the bedroom, it was ok for our 1 night stay though.

A very warm & friendly welcome!.. My stay at St Bernard’s was delightful, warm, clean & very cosy. Breakfast was fresh & deliciously cooked and I must say.. my Salmon omelette was the best I have ever had the privilege of enjoying! The Guest Lounge was a nice space too. Parking was available in a lot up the road.

Little confusing over payment. Should have been taken automatically but apparently wasn't so was a little concerned when asked to pay as it was booked by family member. But this was probably not the fault of establishment.
