Would definitely recommend this guest house to friends and family.

The whole place had a cozy feel and the location is perfect, it was a quick 5 minute walk into Newquay! The water pressure in the shower was amazing and we appreciated the tea, coffee and biscuits in our room. The newly upgraded wifi was an added bonus!

Pleasant host and nice room.

Nice host, clean and friendly. Good location and value for money.

Only downside was the room didn’t have windows that opened so very hot on an evening and night. Also the smart tv didn’t work due to the WiFi

We had a brilliant week in the Wenden we love Newquay. We would highly recommend this guest house.

It was very clean, comfortable and the location was great! Right next to the front street 5 min walk to beach if that. Having a small fridge, cups glasses, plates and cutlery was a bonus, the owners were great, especially Cilla! She was very helpful and friendly a lovely lady. Take away food was allowed. Can’t fault it in any way. We had a great week there and would definitely return.

Superb accommodation

Cilla was a lovely host. So warm and welcoming. The rooms are tastefully decorated, large and comfortable with everything you need. Parking available close by. Centrally located and within easy walking distance of beaches and town centre. Can highly recommend 👌

Amazing Newquay!

We stayed 6 nights in Newquay, and we felt in love with Cornwall! We are glad we chose to stay at this property. The place was very clean, and the owners were lovely 😍 The guest house is in the perfect location, very close to the beach and close to the town centre. We are definitely coming back next year!

Great location, clean and comfy place to saty

Spent 3 nights and would definitely stay again if in Newquay. Very clean and spacious room (no.2 at the rear), and its in a great location for exploring Newquay. Cilla the owner was very friendly and helpful, and definitely did all she could to make sure we enjoyed out stay. You can order breakfast and it is served to you in your room. We had a sandwich which was very good with good quality ingredients. Used the parking which is located around 200 metres from the property itself and had no issues at all. Overall had a great stay and would definitely recommend.

The room was great, clean & modern. Large comfy bed, large bathroom with hot shower. Central location. The owner is very friendly and helpful . We didn't have breakfast but I imagine it's great.

The stay was fantastic, it was a good experience.

It was an amazing experience, the host Cilla was very nice and welcoming. We are vegetarians and we decided to have breakfast there she went out of her way to meet our requirements. The room was very clean and well kept, I definitely recommend this guest house.

The only problem was the shower the water draining was quite slow but not a deal breaker, other than that everything was good.

Everyone needs a Cilla in their life, she really cares

The property is outstanding. Beautifully tasteful decorated rooms. They had everything needed, lots of hanging space, toiletries, kettle, toaster, biscuits even, lush large towels. Everyone needs a Cilla in their life. She is amazing, sorted all our toiletries for us, we had it looking like a dogs breakfast but Cilla had it looking fabulous. She is absolutely delightful as well. The property is situated in a great place. Highly recommend Cillas b&b.

Lovely host and great value

The property was very clean and well kept. The host was extremely accommodating and friendly. I would stay here again for the value.

We stayed in the front room close to the road so you could hear the traffic. However the earplugs were included and we stayed there 2 nights so it didn't bother us too much.

Wonderful stay

We not only liked this accommodation, we loved it. Our spacious room had all we needed, plus a fridge, which was a great addition, especially for longer stays like ours. Breakfast cost £5.00, it was served directly to our room. This is a perfect option for somebody like me, who isn't a morning person. This accommodation is run by a lovely, lovely lady, who is very friendly, funny, with a great sense of humor, and who has made our stay unforgettable.:) We strongly recommend this accommodation to all future guests, who are looking for all in one accommodation, that exceeds expectations. Cilla and Mike were very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble for them. The room was comfortable, spacious and very clean. Nicely decorated. The cooked breakfasts were delicious and enough for what you wanted. The WI-FI was EXCELLENT, so easy to connect to and NO buffering. The Guest House was situated in the perfect location with access to all amenities within a short walking distance (5-15mins away) . The beaches included in this. Great places to eat, The Great Western and Rebellion. Had a lovely break and would deffinately recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay in Newquay.

Relaxed and happy

The location was excellent and only a short walking distance to the beach shops bars and restaurants. Cilla our host was really lovely and really accommodating during our stay and I would definitely stay at this guest house again and recommend it to anyone else staying in Newquay

Amazing host, great location and beautiful accommodation

The best host I ever ever met xx Cilla couldn’t do enough for us and we arrived way ahead of our expected arrival time which was early morning and rang Cilla to ask about the location of the carpark. We were really early (07:00 after a 7 hour drive) and got Cilla out of bed 🫣 sorry Cilla xx she accommodated us straight away as luckily a larger room was available which we could have was available for us to go straight to bed after the long journey. Cilla was very welcoming and friendly and went above and beyond for us xx Our room was very spacious and spotlessly clean and comfortable with everything you needed. Will definitely return in the future xx

Excellent quality, hotel style!

Quality of the accommodation was excellent, we had a fantastic sleep , the mattress was very good quality . The area was beside everything, yet very quiet & peaceful ..The lady Cilla had everything covered ,from spare umbrellas to sunhats ! Loved our stay ,we will be back !

Charming guest house with the nicest hostess EVER

OMG, this was may be my favorite place that I stayed on my entire trip. I was lucky that someone else had cancelled, because I got in at the last minute... on a weekend. The hostess could not have been lovelier, giving me a map, dining recommendations, calling me a taxi and waiting with me for it to come... It's a simple house with private rooms that all have their own bathrooms... but it's just done WELL. Everything feels very knew and thoughtfully designed. It's also about a 2 minute walk from the train station and convenient to the rest of town. I can't recommend enough.

Always a pleasant stay and close to so many facilities.

Cilla is so accommodating and cannot do enough to help you. Nothing is too much bother and the food you ask for is great! She can also offer lots of information on things to do and places to visit.

very clean room and very quiet as it was at the back of the building - nice to have a table and cutlery etc in the room with table and seating. Nice large TV. Breakfast served to the room at pre requested time and very nice and reasonably priced. Cilla who runs the property is very nice and straight to the point - which we liked

Room could have been a little larger , very comfortable though - ours was the smallest room ( I believe) - But we still would have chosen this room as it was very quiet and away from the main road

Fantastic hosts, fantastic location

Location couldn't be better, lots of restaurant, bars beaches and supermarkets within minutes of the guest house. Cilla, was a fantastic host and couldn't do enough for us and kept the rooms spotlessly clean. Breakfast is no longer included in the price but can be ordered the day before, Which is then brought to your room at the time you specified and is excellent value for money.
