Surfside stop was perfect for my surfing trip and provided everything I needed and more.

The location was perfect with only a short walk into the town and to the beach. The room and facilities were excellent and Dan was a great host who was always on hand to help or give recommendations. Would absolutley recommend.

Stayed here for my first visit to Cornwall over the course of 4 days, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Dan was such a lovely and welcoming host. He checked in with me while I was on my way via coach to make sure everything was in order and that I arrived smoothly. From the moment I arrived, he went above and beyond. Offering great recommendations for places to visit, eat, and even gave me helpful info about the tide times for my surf lessons. Every day, he refreshed my room to an exceptional standard. Coming back in the evening to a clean space, fresh bed, and spotless bathroom made a huge difference. It really helped me relax and get a great night’s sleep. The location is super central, making it easy to get around and explore. The room itself was brilliant, especially the beautiful sea view. Waking up to blue skies over the ocean was such a treat. Would absolutely recommend staying here—amazing service, ideal location, and a really comfortable room. Thanks again, Dan!

Superb location, excellent standard of cleanliness, host always helpful, (valet) parking on site.

We provided our own breakfast which we prepared and ate in a room downstairs. There was a fridge/freezer for guests use, microwave, crockery and cutlery provided. Afterwards we could put our dirty dishes in a box, and it was returned washed and clean.

Ideal for a long weekend

Everything was great. The host Dan was extremely friendly and approachable. He gave us a lot of suggestions on activities and locations to visit. Highly recommended.

Only aspect that could be improved is the lack of blackout curtains. The room was pretty bright as soon as the sun was up and we struggled a bit sleeping.

Absolutely perfect if you want a nice property with great access to Newquay town

The location could not be better for access to the town, a short five minute walk and you’re right in the middle, perfect

If i really had to complain about something it would be the lack of black out blinds on the windows, only because my other half likes it completely dark, but it didn’t bother me really.

Great place to stay

Great location, we stayed there for a week and would recommend The Surfside stop as a great place to stay. Nothing was too much trouble. Dan was excellent told us where to go and best way to get there. 2 minute walk to town centre and couple of more minutes to the beach. Bus station is 5 minute walk away. The accommodation was excellent and so clean. EXCELLENT ALL ROUND

The owner greeted us as we pulled in and was very polite and helpful. He offered to help us with bags, he told us where everything is and where to go. The stay itself is nice and quiet and it a great location. We will definitely be coming back.

Very good value for the money

I had a wonderful stay over Easter, the bed was so comfy after long day of hiking, and the location couldn't have been better — everything was within easy reach. The shared living room area had a beautiful view with the church tower and the sea in the background. The fridge, plates, and cutlery in the shared kitchen was a bonus. The host, Dan, was so welcoming and friendly, I would definitely recommend it

The owner is awesome 😎 cool guy it was amazing I just enjoyed my holidays peaceful place to stay he do have everything we need even he have microwave to heat up the food. fridge to store the food. we don't need to feel that we gonna have cold food no body has this facilities before we're I stayed plenty of places. This place so comfy they lounge to have food amazing place is incredible comfy place to stay I never expected this trip will be this good wow amazing good caring people he his very helpful supercool guy guys I highly recommended this place.need to go again to stay in same place.

Great location in walking distance to everything. Dan was a great host and very helpful. The guest house was comfortable and clean and perfect for our 5 day stay. Restaurants, supermarkets, entertainment and the beach are all an easy walk away.

Liked my room with sea view, queen bed in a deluxe single room, (only one) so room to spread out. Had a church and sea view on second floor and Dan carried my case up and down for me when I left.The decor and furnishings were understated and harmonious. Plenty of tea and milk, tv simple to operate. Quiet building. The common room and it’s facilities downstairs. The host was very friendly and helpful. The maps and bus route guide very helpful in reception.
