A relaxing time away

It was very close to the seafront which myself and my husband loved. Cafes and restaurants were also a few minutes walk away which was very convenient. The owners were very friendly and polite. We would definitely book at St Brecas again!!

Perfect base for exploring Cornwall

Everything. In summary, an excellent location with great hosts offering clean, comfortable and affordable accommodation. In detail: good continental breakfast selection, excellent wifi, attentive and hospitable hosts, room had good natural light with opening windows and blackout blinds, desk sized electric fan, tea/coffee/kettle and a chair so you don't need to sit on the bed. Hand soap in room and Bodywash/Shampoo provided in shared bathroom. I did not use the tv or the parking facilities. On a main road but I did not need earplugs, road noise was not an issue. 5mins or less on foot to any transport, shopping, food outlets and 10mins or less to a beach with a cafe. Newquay is an excellent base to explore other parts of Cornwall especially by car but also by bus so days out are plentiful. Newquay itself has beautiful coastline to walk and a variety of well serviced beaches so you really don't have to go anywhere else if you don't want to.

Nothing really. The bedroom doors are fire doors (regulation) and I found them a bit heavy to open. Some more hanging space would be nice. Note that most rooms are up 2-4 short flights of stairs so bring luggage that's easy to carry if you are in an upstairs room.

Great short stay in Newquay - surfing coasteering

Hospitality from Nick and Gary started at the entrance and continued throughout our stay. Lovely family room, wide selection of breakfast food and beverages. Definitely recommend St Breca to friends. Great location - only a 2 minute walk to high street and 5-6 minute walk to beach.

Tremendous central location with an exquisite sea-view from my window. The owner was a lovely chap too. Breakfast was a little late for me at 9 as I had to split early for work. Would have liked to have sampled it.

The shared WC could benefit from a sign advertising it as such.

Memorable trip! Value for money! Great hosts.

Our hosts were awesome. Friendly polite and super helpful. Decent rooms, clean and tidy overall. Property is literally 5 minutes from Towan beach where we did our surfing kayaking and swimming all 3 days. They provided with a simple breakfast which was good to start off with the day. We were a family of 4 with 2 rooms.

The owners were incredibly friendly and helpful, going out of their way to ensure I had a nice stay. This included popping out to the shop to buy soy milk when they discovered I was unable to drink regular milk. Thank you!!

Fab little b&b
