    Good location, rude hotel staff.
    The stay had a great location, central to everything we wanted to visit.
    We felt the staff at reception were inattentive, disengaged and dismissive. Two incidents made us feel so - Our friends were trapped inside the women's changing room on the 6th floor after using the gym. When we approached the staff there was no sense of urgency from their side in what was a dangerous situation for our friends to be in. Our friends were finally let out after around 20mins of waiting. We later learned from another guest that this problem with the door was already reported the previous day and nobody had fixed it. The second incident was during checkout and the receptionist was adamant that we had to pay a 'cleaning fee' and that this was in the policy that we should have read. We had to show them that we had already paid this fee since we booked through booking.com after which we never received an apology from the staff for making the mistake on her side.

    Great location, but wouldn’t recommend.
    Location was great right in the heart of old town Innsbruck. Spacious and clean.
    Reception is actually located 10 minutes walk away which we were not notified about until we called them. Our entrance card stopped working on day 2 and staff seemed unable to rectify the matter which was frustrating as the weather was freezing and we were locked out most of the day. Entry door card also enables the lift, so we had to walk 5 flights up. Other than it being a great location, would not recommend.

    It was a TOTAL nightmare!
    Location. That is it.
    Proper is very run down. Big but dated. Very basic and bare. Wire rack is being used in place of a proper wardrobe. Washing machine is provided without any dryer. Lift which is super small is accessible only on level 2. If you are travelling with many luggages and young children or old folks, good luck to you. Sofa bed in the living area is uncomfortable. Also no proper notification nor message to inform customers that the reception and collection of keys is a distance from the apartment despite them insisting that this was mentioned. I went back to check on booking and confirmed that there isn’t at least at the point of writing. If they indicate later on, then it’s probably cos I kick a big fuss about this. On top of that, communication and PR from front desk is zero. Attitude is bad, high and mighty. When I checked in, instead of explaining that they needed my card as a guarantee which I do not understand why there is a need as payment in full had already been made one month before arrival, the young female staff on duty on New Year’s Eve told me she needed to collect payment from me before she could hand over the keys. I told her and even showed her the payment made and asked if she could give us the keys to check in first and she could check as my family was waiting in the cold for the keys to check in. She insisted and even got her female manager to the front desk. The lady manager displayed a condescending tone and told me to pay up. When I showed her the payment proof, she took a look and said ha that is to booking.com not me! She made me feel that I am begging for a free stay.

    Falsely advertised, uncomfortable, terrible communication, unsatisfied
    Ability to store luggage before check in, location and view great, spacious apartment
    Apartment was advertised as having three beds, which is why i booked it. However the apartment only had one queen bed and one sofabed, which was very hard and uncomfortable. We wasted the first afternoon of our stay trying to work out how it could be resolved, many long waits in reception, huge queues to talk to staff, two half hour waits to talk to the manager, their check in systems are slow and arduous. The solution was that one of us had to stay in one of their hotel rooms ehich was very nice, but 300m from the rest of the family. I resent all the wasted waiting time to get a resolution to an issue that wasnt our fault and it was really inconvenient being split up like that. The staff were initially helpful but then became very rude as the drama went on and we were confused about what was happening. Basically due to terrible communication at their side. The apartment was very expensive and i feel we didnt get what we paid for. Mostly i was shocked that they didnt care that they advertise a product they have no intention of delivering. We’ve been travelling in Europe for 4 weeks now and this has been the worst accomodation experience for us.

    Fed up by lousy hotel management!
    The location is good.
    It mentioned that the upper floors are accessible by elevator, but it didn’t mention that the elevator is not on the ground floor. We need to carry all the luggage to the first floor to use the elevator. Not convenient for guests will heavy luggage nor senior guests. Furthermore, check-in and check-out are required to do it at the Stage Hotel which is far from the accommodation. It so happened that the access card issued by the staff couldn’t open the door, we need to go back to the hotel to reactivate the card again. Since the checkout should be done again at the Stage Hotel again, there is no specified counter for the Golden Roof guests. After lining up for 20 minutes, when it came to our turn, the staff said the Golden Roof guests should be taken care of by other staff…
