Loved the location, the room itself is also nice.
It was a little like being in a window on display. The windows are amazing, however there are no blinds, or nets, and its VERY open. You have to have the curtains closed unless.you are dressed. I had someone wave to me from the when I was wrapped in a towel, after getting out the shower. No bathrobes are provided and its both windows. So if you are sat in bed, having a cup of tea in the morning, curtains are shut and light on. Kettle is on the other side of curtains. Room servicing was also a little strange, cups changed, towels changed. Bed not made, with no details on what is actually done. Very noisy from 7.30am, everyday of the week.

Large, clean, modern, great views, tea, coffee, milk etc & fridge provided. Comfortable seating. Centre of town but quiet. Also a drying room. Staff excellent. Absolutely will book again!
Couple of flights of steps upto room to be aware of, bath didn’t drain well but we forgot to mention it. Very small issues that were not ‘dislikes’ & did not ruin our stay

Great location and view, staff very welcoming.
Room 31, room is cold 8 degrees outside, radiator up full but no heat, no spare blankets for the bed. Wi-Fi is very intermittent, as an IT professional in Ambleside to work this is inexcusable. Road side is noisy, bottle collection at 5:37AM. Floor above has the squeakiest floor boards. Not a restful nights sleep
