Couldn’t be more central for Ambleside and free parking too. Really good sized room which felt recently updated. Comfortable king size bed, good shower, excellent free WiFi. Friendly staff. Excellent value.
Looks a little tatty from the outside but noted scaffolding bro erected as I left so possible redecorate? Either way do not let that put you off.

Location is perfect . Room size was good and the shower room too.
Unavoidable noise from the street deliveries and other vehicles
Avoidable noise from the cleaners of the pub . 7am wakeup call of them vacuuming the pub which is underneath the room.
When I spoke to the staff on checkout about it. The reply was sorry it was loud but that's the time we do it.
