Memorable stay for New Year’s Eve 2026
Great location and the pub food was great.

Short break in the lakes.
Location was very good. We used the bar for food in the evening, this was much better quality and service than breakfast. Bar was a nice area with bit of entertainment in the evening. On site parking very useful.
Room, we had quite noisy neighbours in the room above. Breakfast was quite decent although service was slow, day one our waiter was also the cleaner at the same time. Communication before out stary was a little over the top, one message after the other. Pre paid and non refundable so un necessary.

Great staff, large room and in a great central location. (Road noise minimal despite being on main road) Enjoyed a good breakfast.
Outside needs cleaned as it is suffering by being on a main road and does not reflect the inside. Beware although no fault of the hotel, getting a meal after 8.30 in town proved impossible (sorry sir we are closing)

The breakfast was nice, the dinner was like weatherspoons not so good. The room we had was freezing no radiators working just a small blow heater. Really cold and I asked for a walk in shower as my partner was waiting for a new knee . It was a bath with a shower proved a bit difficult for him.

Lovely break during winter months
Hotel in central position for shops,restaurants pubs etc. The staff were all friendly and had time for little chats. Food for breakfast was good so were the 2 pub meals we had. The room was fantastic (3) roomy and had a view of the street. We did park on the carpark but not sure if it was busy you could get a space.
