Debbie & Paul are great hosts, friendly, knowledgeable and courteous.
The parking however the complimentary pass was appreciated

The hosts were friendly and very helpful with information about the area. The room was well equipped, clean and comfortable. There were nice touches with the flapjacks and port. Breakfast was very good. The guest house is very central to the village. We were given a parking pass which was great for use in Ambleside and around other villages in the Lake District. We had a very enjoyable stay and would not hesitate to return to The Waterwheel.
If we had any very small issue it was the staircase up to the room. However we managed fine.

Wonderful hosts providing an exceptional guest experience, from the room and nice little touches, to their hospitality and delicious food. Paul and Debbie go above and beyond.
