Wow is all I can say! Probably one of the most generous and giving accomodations that we have ever stayed at. Not one stone left unturned. We honestly felt bad because we feel we got way more than what we paid for! One of the best free breakfasts we have ever had, Free parking only a tiny walk away which didn’t bother us one bit, super super comfortable bed, wine on arrival. Nothing felt like too much to ask. Will absolutely stay here again when in Ambleside. Can understand why their rating is so high. What a vibe 🙌🏼

The room was fabulous lots of little touches to make it feel homely. The hosts had thought of everything. There was a guide to local walks book about the Lakes and they even left two little bottles of Merlot for us. We had the Merlot room. The spa bath was lovely. There was even a fridge. The room was above the Cafe and breakfast was outstanding. We could order anything from the menu and there was no deadline, perfect if you wanted a lie in. The location was great for all the bars and restaurants.
