Rooms were spacious and clean! Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Lots of fresh fruit at breakfast.
The rooms were a little too warm due to the bathroom radiator which you are unable to turn off.

Perfect little stay.
Exceeded my expectations. This was a random last minute booking and so glad we did. It's central to ambleside, perfect base for walks, days out etc and the option to park made it nice and easy. There is lots of choice for evening meals within the vicinity. The staff at the hotel were lovely. The hotel itself was absolutely spotless. The rooms had everything you could need. The triple room I booked was great for families as they had a curtain so it was like having two separate rooms, even had a TV in both sections. The bathroom was nice and modern and had a fantastic shower. The room was on the top floor so had a nice view of the mountains. It states the breakfast is continental so was just expecting a few boxes of cereal but I was wrong there was a whole array of fruit, yoghurt, pastries, cereal, toast, spreads, boiled eggs it really was a great buffet. Hot drinks and juice available too. Would definitely return if visiting the area.
