lovely place to stay

Excellent staff ,very helpful the room was very good for 3 people for one night. Lovely position very near lake.

The swimming pool was lovely and warm ,however very small not really a place for swimming, and you had to pay extra to use sauna.

Excellent stay in Lake District

Great location and facilities for an overnight stop. Including everything you might need. Access to a laundry, pool and walk to the lake.

Old school light outside the bedroom which leaves the bedroom lit up all night (even with curtains closed). Be great if it was moved to the wall so it's facing outwards .

Clean, well appointed accommodation in a very convenient location. The courtyard area between the apartments gives the site a very nice relaxed feel. My children loved the onsite pool.

The traffic on the road during the day (during peak season) can be noisy but this in only during the day whilst the cruise boats are running, outside these hours Lakeside is nice and peaceful.

We had been let down at very short notice by our previous accommodation, however within 4 hours of booking we were sat in our spotless accommodation. With the centeal location too, we'd definitely return!

Great location and facilities

Nice and quiet but an easy walk to Ambleside town centre. Great to be right by the lake and Windermere boat hire. Very clean. Good facilities in the family apartment.

My son (aged 12) said the single bed he had was very uncomfortable and he has never complained about a bed ever before after staying in many different places. Everything else was fab though so the rest of us were happy 😁

Lovely stay

We booked this room because it slept 3 people and such rooms are often hard to find it was clean and had everything you might need; microwave, fridge, plus complimentary tea/coffee milk and water. Good location - 15 min walk to the town centre but near the lake and a couple of pubs/cafes. The staff were helpful. It was good value compared to others in the area on a bank holiday weekend.

Our room (apt 1) was very small and only just enough room at the bottom of the bed to get past. Only a double not a king but suspect , given the room size , it could not have taken a double . Very soft mattress but that’s a personal preference

Love it, highly recommend

It was just near to the end of the lake Commutable towards Ambleside Our room which was exactly back to the reception office was so nice and cosy. And the small swimming pool was cherry on top. I wasn’t planning to go for swim though but there was heavy rain when we just arrived. So we need to wait until it stop so we swam there.
