The breakfast was superb. We tried the evening menu special which was a Pheasant breast.It wasn't the best I've tasted, it was nicely presented but it was rather salty and dry.
The bed mattress provided a good nights sleep and the room was spacious and clean. Well worth the 5 stars

Nice room (39) comfy bed, old-fashioned but beautiful armoire and dressing table. Coal effect fire, but central heating was excellent so didn't need it. Fitted bathroom with underfloor heating was really cosy.
Really clean. Good breakfast and bar food was excellent . Highly recommended

We have stayed at The Waterhead Inn multiple times and continue to come back. The staff are friendly and accommodating. We look forward to our next stay there!
