We had a really lovely stay at Lyndale Guest House and would happily recommend it.
The location is very convenient, with shops and everything you need close by, which made our stay really easy and enjoyable. Parking was also a big plus — hassle-free and very helpful when traveling by car.
The guest house itself was clean, comfortable, and well looked after. You can tell care is taken to make guests feel welcome, and overall it had a warm, homely feel.
Breakfast was included and nicely prepared — a great way to start the day. The only tiny (and friendly!) note would be… breakfast never quite feels complete without two eggs 😄 so maybe one extra egg would make it absolutely perfect!
Overall, a very pleasant stay with great value, and we’d definitely come back again 👍

Completely blew all expectations! Really lovely property, perfect location to wander into town with lots of shops and plenty of choices for places to eat, to head off for a beautiful walk out on the trails or activities on the lake. It’s a short drive to other popular spots like Grasmere for gingerbread and caves!
The host was a pleasure. Really friendly and super helpful. Breakfast in the morning was fab and we really enjoyed our stay here. Would absolutely recommend.
