Clean room. Double and sofa bed for 3. Good sized warm room and bathroom. Nice location. Breakfast good - hot plate buffet as well as cereal / fruit/ yoghurt. Meals ok in bar. Run out of some things, so eat earlier ! Dont bother with cheese platter - small plate for £13 !! 😂. Would return

Room was clean tidy and lovely surroundings of the hotel with a few different bars to drink and eat around it view of a lovely lake also. Was a bit loud very early in the morning with doors slamming woke us up and kept us awake earlier than we would of liked but overall an amazing spot with amazing views staff were lovely and very helpful towards us. Bar staff were great to talk to and was nice connecting with other guests who told us more about the hotel and the area.

Clean room but mold around the shower cubicle. Breakfast was ok but if you’re staying over the road it’s a bit of chore if the weather is bad as breakfast is served in the main building. Wouldn’t go back due to the logistics of getting to the breakfast area in the bad weather.

Stay was good and location was fab, but when we returned home received 4 separate parking tickets for parking in the hotel over our 2 night stay, when we were assured by a member of staff when he checked us in that he also updated the car parking system with our car details. We are now in the middle of trying to sort this out with the car parking company. This could be very off putting to book this accommodation again

The property is ideally located with lovely sitting area outside by the lake and walkable into the town centre. The breakfast buffet was very good and plenty of variety and the meals were also very good. Our accommodation was in the dog friendly section over the road from the main hotel, which was a short walk across the road. Our room was on the ground floor and could not leave the windows open as backed onto car park. There was no air conditioning so the room was very hot which made it difficult to sleep. The pillows were hard and no fridge in the room just an empty cupboard which looked like once held a fridge. The gutter was leaking so when it rained all the water poured down and made it very noisy. Some of the staff were abrupt and not very pleasant including the bar man on the outside bar . The hotel was expensive and basically overpriced for the service we got. Premier Inn are cheaper and friendly staff, unfortunately none around the Lakes. The bar staff were helpful and friendly and if you stayed for 2 nights and opted to not have room serviced then you got a free drink at the bar, we got 2 glasses of medium wine free (normally about £16) do this was good. We would not stay here again.

Room was very small , but clean. Beer garden was lovely. Wanted to order 2 Irish coffees but was told it was too late ,it was only 9-30 in the evening. Only serve meals till 9pm ,as there is nowhere else nearby to get a meal found this not good . Breakfast was average bacon very dry .Saff were lovely

Was disappointed with room as very noisy at night with people coming in at 12 and in the early morning traffic. Also the breakfast wasn’t as warm as we liked even at first sitting . Thought we were staying at the hotel at waters edge not a bloke across the road .

Location magnificent and iseal for a lakes holiday. Restaurant bar good. Dinner menu very average. Staff very friendly. Complimentary breakfast poor and cooked items almost cold. Very limited if you are vegetarian. Parking is a major issue. If you can get a space hang on to it. Would be inadequate even iif exclusive to residents but also at a charge open to non-residents. Overall impression disappointing but could easily be brilliant.

The hotel is in a great location and we had a Windermere room behind hotel across the road. Car parking was a bonus. Breakfast good. Had lunch there with family who came to us and it was very disappointing which was a shame.

Location is great. Staff are very helpful, breakfast is excellent and lots of choice. We had a superior room at the Windermere Rooms. I expected a better view/facilities for the cost, rooms were very warm but could be easily fixed by turning the radiators down. Floor in the bedroom was slightly uneven which didn’t affect the stay but something I didn’t expect for the price of the room. I would definitely stay again but probably wouldn’t pay for a superior room.
