I loved it! The owners were so nice in fact I was convinced I knew them from somewhere even though I'd never met them before as the welcome was so warm. Very clean and comfortable. Free parking can be arranged either on site or if it is full, they can lend you a permit for the pay and display a short distance away. I slept so well and it was great to wake up to a fine quality breakfast. The ingredients were top notch. I rate places on the sausage provided and these were yummy. Egg done to perfection! They kept checking if you needed any more toast or delicious coffee! I can't wait to go again!

The breakfast was fantastic and the location was great. Only a ten minute walk to Ambleside but not in the busyness of the town centre. Bus stop less than 2 min walk from the house that goes up into the Valleys and also back to Windermere way!
