Superb stay in a beautiful hotel, we will be back!!!

Amazing hosts, really kind and helpful. The hotel is beautifully clean, the breakfast awesome with every choice combination you could wish for. The hosts can't do enough to make your stay restful and easy. Views across Loughrigg fell to the front by day and owls chatting in the trees after dark. Love it and are definitely coming back here. The location is brilliant for town or pier too.

Clean, warm and comfortable room. Friendly and helpful hosts. Excellent breakfast...high quality ingredients cooked to order.

On-site car parking was tricky, but the hosts are happy to give you a pass for the car park 2 minutes walk away.

Friendly B&B in Ambleside

It’s conveniently located between Ambleside town centre and Lake Windermere (5-10 minutes’ walk to both), with friendly staff.

Generally everything was great - but the small selection of breakfast cereals was practically camouflaged among the cards on the dresser. A more prominent display (plus some muesli) would be nice.

I would stay again and would happily recommend.

I had booked a single room. I was upgraded to a double room. The room was clean well presented and very comfortable. Bathroom facilities were excellent. In the room was list of options for breakfast and my preferences. ( eggs boiled; scrambled; poached etc ) The breakfast was again very good. The B&B was a short walk into the centre ( 5mins ). The owners were polite and very helpful.

Cosy stay at a high quality, great value for money, and very friendly bnb

Communication and checking in information was clear and there were no problems at all. Very friendly welcome and stay, with a fab breakfast to boot. Such a pleasure to stay at such a well cared for BnB. The room itself felt very cosy and a perfect little escape.

The noise from the road traffic and people talking can be heard more clearly than expected, even though the windows are high quality, but this didn't affect my sleep at all so it wouldn't stop me from staying again.

Lovely stay in quiet property in a beautiful setting!

Great location - central to Ambleside shops, cafes, pubs etc (2-5 minute walk) without being right in the centre. Lovely, cosy property with everything we could need in the room. Tasty breakfast with lots of options. Steve and Tina were super helpful!

A very nice short break at a comfortable and welcoming guest house.

Very good breakfast in spacious breakfast room. Well appointed bedroom. Bus stops nearby and only a short walk to the bus interchange for buses to Coniston, Great Langdale, Grasmere etc. Despite being on the main road, the location was quiet.

The owners were very friendly and knowledgable about the local area. Ideal location for walking in to Ambleside and visiting other areas of the Lake District. Comfortable, clean and a great breakfast to start the day. Will definitely be back.

Lovely room, fab guesthouse with parking available just down the street (permit provided) there is parking at the property but a bit tight. Great location. Lovely breakfast, owners lovely and accommodating, would love to return!
