Great location just a few minutes walk from the town centre. The room was clean and well kitted out and it had a lovely view of the surrounding fells.
The WiFi was inadequate. It kept cutting out. The reception system (which is based on a WhatsApp group) operator was little help. Although it didn’t spoil our holiday , it was an annoyance.

This hotel is situated 5 mins walk outside of Ambleside. It had good parking arrangements. Whilst there was no reception staff or people to help at the hotel, the Whatsapp introduction with clear instructions about the whole hotel was absolutely brilliant. There was no stone left unturned and we had a seamless check- in. Whilst the outside was a bit untidy due to renovation works, the hotel room far exceeded our expectations. We had booked a family room for myself, my wife and daughter. The room came with a Super Kingsized bed which was the comfiest bed I have ever slept on with big plump soft pillows. A separate room for my daughter was brilliant with a separating door and the most amazing views through the large glass windows of the mountains. There is absolutely nothing I could fault this hotel for. Simply Brilliant.

Room was excellent and finished to high standard. Location is good, short walk into town.
We stayed here when it was staffed and breakfast was available and it had better feel.
Felt as if work was still going on.. hoover in fire exit, messy in places. Outside untidy.

Plenty of tea, coffee and milk portions available.
Room was quite dirty. Shower screen has conditioner smears and the water pressure was dreadful.
The lounge was very dirty.
