Fantastic property, the location is great. Hayley was so helpful and nothing was too much trouble for her. Rooms were spotless. Breakfast was amazing. Staff who served breakfast (sorry I did not get names) were also amazing. I would 100% stay here again.

We recently stayed here for our anniversary weekend and I really wanted to love it — because in so many ways, this hotel is outstanding. The venue, location, staff, and cleanliness were all absolutely brilliant. The team couldn’t have been more welcoming, and the setting is beautiful.

Unfortunately, our room (No. 10) really let the experience down. It was right up in the roof with only a small skylight window, and when it rained heavily through the night, it was incredibly noisy — I barely slept and felt like I was in a caravan during a storm and by the second morning I had such a bad headache that I even had to skip breakfast, which was such a shame.
It’s disappointing because everything else about the hotel was so lovely — but that particular room just isn’t comfortable or relaxing. I left feeling tired instead of rested and rejuvenated, which isn’t what you hope for on an anniversary break.
If you book, I’d absolutely recommend the hotel — just avoid Room 10 if you’re looking for a peaceful night’s sleep.
