The location is amazing and for the price its pretty good. But the wifi barely worked and the toilets werent cleaned as often as they should be

Fully equipped kitchen. Clean. Vons would be limited parking in front of the hotel. But evening parking a building away from the hotel usually a few lots available. However I'm traveling outside peak season. No lift available. Rooms access like a little maze. Shower cubicle is tiny

I had a stiff neck during my stay and was unable to move my head comfortably, so I requested a lower bunk bed in advance. However, when I arrived, I was informed that bunk beds were allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, and all of the lower bunks in my room had already been taken. Unfortunately, I was not informed of this policy beforehand. Had I known, I would either have arrived earlier to secure a lower bunk or chosen a different accommodation altogether. I was disappointed by the lack of communication about this policy. The receptionist kindly checked whether there were any lower bunk beds available in other rooms, but none were left. She also spoke to her manager, who offered an isolated bed for an additional charge. As I was travelling on a budget, paying extra was not a practical option, so I had to climb up and down from the top bunk throughout my stay despite my stiff neck. So, I did not particularly enjoy my stay. In addition, there is no air conditioning, so the room can become quite hot and stuffy during the summer.
