The first room we were given was joined to a faulty and extremely noisy water pump, which kept us awake every hour during the first night. We had a wedding to go to the next day and obviously wanted to look our best, not tired pale and wizzened.
Thankfully, we were moved to another room far enough away, to not hear the pump.
I'm not sure why we had not been given the second much nicer superior room from the start, as this was our first stay there.
This hotel has beautiful grounds, and the accommodation on the 2nd and 3rd night was pleasant, clean and comfortable. We would return.
