We had trouble with the shower in our room, either too hot or too cold and after a while the water pressure wasn’t good.

Evening meals & breakfast good.
Bathroom requires thorough cleaning as areas of mould were disconcerting.

Staff very friendly and attentive. Food very good. Good location to get about. Great views from the room. Lovely complimentary tea, coffee and biscuits.
Very noisy road and noise from the bar downstairs kept us awake. Room and bedding clean but very dated and in desperate need of redecoration. Threadbare carpet and mouldy walls.

Staff friendliness, dog friendly room plus in the restaurant/bar, room was ideal straight onto the courtyard for the dog and easy access with the car, nice gardens and a walk for the dog at the back, food /drinks were great, breakfasts and evening meal. We stayed here to go to the Farmers dog (jeremy clarksons pub) for a birthday meal at night ( was disappointing) ! this place beats there food anyday! Recommended!
Bed was comfortable but a little creaky, there was people staying upstairs the first night and we could hear them walking round on the floors most of the night(not the owners fault), could do with a little more hangers for clothes and a bigger wardrobe.

Friendly welcome, nice atmosphere in the bar, comfortable rooms and lovely food - the breakfast was very good! Location was perfect for the places we wanted to visit including Stow on the Wold, Bourton on the Water, Burford, Diddly Squat Farm and Farmers Dog pub!
No complaints at all - it was very good

Informed hotel that the meal/stay was a 50th birthday. Gave staff some glitzy signs for table. They were not put on the table which was set as ordinary dining layout. Nothing special at all. Even supplying the decoration outselves. No one from the staff even wished t he birthday girl any birthday wishes! Disappointing!

I loved being in such an old building. The pub was great with little nooks and cosy corners and it was good to be able to go straight up to bed after a couple of drinks. The bedrooms were very warm and the beds were super comfortable. The bathroom was clean with good water pressure and nice towels. Breakfast was delicious - my husband and I had the full Cotswolds breakfast and the kids had the pancakes. There were toast and cereal and juice too. The location was good for going to the Farmers’ Dog for dinner and as a good base for exploring the area.
You need to have a car as the inn is a coaching inn and on the main road rather than being walking distance to anywhere.

Cooked breakfast was tasty however Amazon speaker was loud under seating.
Radio was on a little loud for morning but that is a personal preference.

Breakfast offered a good choice and my partner found the Cotswold full english very tasty. The evening choice offered a reasonable choice but a little pricey, Wine was expensive.
Nothing not to like as it is a charming Inn and cosy, offering a lot of history.

The breakfast was good, the dogs were given a sausage each.
We had Sunday roast, the food was average but a bit expensive. My partner wanted some more gravy, we were charged an extra £1.95 for a small jug.

The inn is a real gem. Great food and a nice place to have as home while visiting the Cotswolds. The value of the inn is also in the food. The breakfast and dinners here are amazing. They have talented kitchen and wait staff.
Honestly it was brilliant.

The room was adequate, glad I booked a superior room as just about big enough. Lovely and warm as heating was good a really hot water for a nice bath. Breakfast was the star of the show. The staff and locals at the bar were very entertaining, plus the lovely dog.
Nothing.

Lovely and friendly. Staff very helpful and the food was fantastic.
Great breakfast cooked fresh to order. Cosy wood burners for cold miserable days.
Well positioned for exploring the Cotswolds.
This sounds picky but….shower head was too small, no shelves or storage for clothes so had to live out of the suitcase.

Lovely old coaching inn. Nice atmosphere. Great breakfast and dinner. Good secure parking.
A bit of road noise. But, hey, it’s a coaching inn, so it’s on the road! They do provide ear plugs 👍

The entrance and the convenience of its location. Also they had put balloons which arrived for us in the room which was kind.
Shabby room decor. Thin curtains let in the light. Road noise. Rough sheets.
It was meant to be a deluxe room and was I thought priced accordingly.

It was olde worlde which is nice.
The food was excellent and the breakfast really first class..the staff were great.
The fact that it’s on an extremely busy main road which isn’t mentioned in the write up about the property!

A really lovely good sized bedroom and shower. After unpacking had a drink in the bar which was most pleasant and locals were friendly. Back to room to change and then for dinner at 7.15pm. Very good food, attentive, polite staff, everything cooked to order. Many people eating which was interesting as it was a Monday evening. A lovely old Coaching Inn. The breakfast area was full the next morning and we asked and were advised that the Hotel was full plus a couple in a Camper van which were welcome at the Hotel. Breakfast also cooked to order. Family run Hotel and we wish them every success as they deserve to do well.
Personally I would have liked cut up fruit with my breakfast, not complaining, just a comment.
