Lovely room, with separate lounge. Everything looked brand new. Great sofa! Staff really lovely, friendly and very helpful. Nice food and a good breakfast. Lovely open fires and lounge. We will be back!

Everything was great apart from an awkward moment at breakfast that ruined and spoiled the great experience we had Me and my wife dressed down for breakfast, nothing too extreme (not a tracksuit) etc but as we checked in for breakfast the member of staff greeted us then asked for our room number then dined with us before THEN looks my wife up and down and says "oh no, you havent..." It was awkward and unwanted. We usually stay in malmasons and other luxury hotels never had we had this. It spolied a wonderful time at the hotel. Do. Better.

Everything was amazing! The staff were welcoming and friendly and couldn't do enough to make our stay superb. The atmosphere was cosy and Christmassy and the food was delicious. We'll definitely be visiting again!

Nice hotel but freezing cold

Location was great. Staff very pleasant and food was good.

Our room in the attic was freezing cold. The bathroom had cold air blowing in the window. Consequently, I was awake from 3-5am feeling rather miserable! The shower was physically so low that you couldn’t stand under it unless you were 4’6” tall. It was beyond belief! Thank goodness we were only booked for one night! Needless to say, I won’t be back in a hurry!

Beautiful hotel, lovely staff and clean room. Great location within walking distance of the high street but also nicely out of the hustle and bustle. Really nice food! Loved our room. Would definitely stay again!

If I had to moan (but I don't want to) we booked dinner for the Sunday at 6pm, they kindly saved us a roast in case it ran out, however it didn't taste freshly cooked.....but that's only because they saved it for us. All other food was so nice!

Charming countryside hideaway.

The ambiance and charm is outstanding. Good breakfast with possibility to order different warm dishes from the kitchen while the buffet has warm pastries, juices and cereals. The dinner in the same dining room is good with a variety of dishes on the menu to choose from

We didn't have hot water in the room and had to wait for over an hour before a service man came to turn the timer on the heater on. It took a further hour before the water was hot and we could have a bath.

Lovely but could have been better. We missed one of our two nights due to illness.

Great location just off the Main Street. Lots of character. Food excellent.

Room was ok but needed carpet cleaning and bathroom was too small. Shower head was so low due to ceiling height we couldn’t wet our head.
