Great stay, cosy, rural and a must stay
The Inn was cosy and comfortable with the lovely fire and great food. Very dog friendly. Spacious room. Would definitely recommend for a quiet stay.
The parking is very very limited and we had to park our car on the road for the duration which wasn’t ideal but if you can managed to nag one of the spaces then it’s fine. Majority of the staff were very lovely, welcoming and accommodating, however there was one waitress that made several personal comments about our dog which were super unhelpful & upsetting, then proceeded to keep coming over and touching her and winding her up but then making more comments about her being too excited. Then a different waitress was visibly very annoyed and frustrated with another customer while he was settling his bill which was slightly uncomfortable as I was next in line to be seen. No fridge in our room to store our dog food and our personal items. You could hear every door slam at all times of the day, but this is because they are fire doors so I appreciate this can’t be helped, so if your a light sleeper then maybe bring ear plugs.

A delightful and atmospheric pub/hotel, the staff were friendly and would certainly return.
Delicious breakfast with a good selection choices.

Nice pub and room but staff could be friendlier.
Lovely pub, well cared for and cosy. Room nice, with a bath in the room.
There was no separate shower so trying to shower and wash hair was quite awkward in the bath. The staff were quite abrupt and the service in the restaurant wasn’t great. The staff weren’t attentive or that friendly. One left us standing waiting for our table for ages and another asked if we wanted the dessert menu but then disappeared. The food was nice but expensive for what it was. Mains don’t come with anything so you had to pay extra for chips/potatoes etc. The staff also dumped all their coats and bags, and even lunch, on the windowsill outside our bedroom which was a bit odd. There’s nothing really in the village so it’s not the best location to wander about.

Wonderful stay in a beautiful location
Location was fantastic in a beautiful, quiet Cotswolds village. Staff were very friendly. Breakfast, evening meal and pizzas were delicious. Room was spacious with a lovely free standing bath. We traveled with our dog, the pub/hotel was very dog friendly.
Nothing not to like. Some prior reviews commented on carpet stains, whilst this really didn’t bother us, new carpets were bing put down as we left.
