Beautiful place to stay. Close to Blenheim Palace. Great pubs and cafe’s on the doorstep. We’ll go back.

Loved everything about this hotel. Beautiful central location, parking easy, close to great pubs and eateries. Great meal at the Punchbowl just up the road. Only a short walk to the Blenheim Palace gate. We got lucky and had a lovely sized room with a massive bathroom with a claw bath in. The bed was the nicest we’ve ever slept in. Beautiful breakfast. Nothing was too much trouble with the staff, in particular the lovely receptionists who were always smiling - Arian and Adriana - thank you. Downstairs, comfy armchairs around the fire.

Spacious and cosy accommodation in the heart of town and close to the Blenheim Palace

Very nice room and a historical look, spacious with beautiful coffee and tea facilities as well as complimentary water. We enjoyed sitting at the fireplace downstairs at the reception. Staff was helpful and friendly. Great location directly in the centre of town and walking distance from the palace.

Very friendly and welcoming. Lovely coaching inn, excellent location to the Palace. We had the deluxe courtyard room which was very spacious. Very good selection at breakfast and the bonus of parking options.

Although the room was lovely unfortunately having a frosted bathroom door gave no privacy. The shower although looking the part did not perform.

The staff here were fantastic, so welcoming, friendly and always smiling- nothing was too much trouble. We sat by the roaring fire having been served drinks by the really lovely receptionist. Rooms were huge. Great location.

A very enjoyable couple of days

The hotel was a delight, the reception was more like a lounge with two wood burning fires and big comfortable seats just a joy. Our room was more like a small flat with its own front door. What a large bed The room and bathroom were spotlees Breakfasts were all cooked to order none of that watery scrambled eggs.

The only comment (must point out this is more an observation) is that along with most hotels they are promoting being more Eco friendly which has to be applauded. However whilst trying to have a morning wash and shave I had to fill the sink three times during this time because the pop up sink plug did not seal properly. This must be waste of water and heat etc.

A delightful stay

I've stayed here before and will be going back again. It's my hotel of choice at Woodstock. It's welcoming, comfortable, stylish and central. Our room was bright, spacious and restful, and beautifully appointed. Breakfast was excellent. Staff are so welcoming and helpful. Highly recommeded!

AWFUL.

"Bathroom" was separate to the room. Unsure how this could be called a bathroom as it was TINY and awful configuration and dirty. Water stopped working half way through. Smell of cooked breakfast wafted through the window in the morning. Locked out of room because the adjoining door to the bathroom shut behind me. Locked out of room for half hour while someone tried to find a key. Room horrifically hot. Windows didn't open. Room next door to me was being refurbished on arrival. Strong smell of adhesive. THE WORST HOTEL I HAVE EVER STAYED IN.
