The receptionist, Ops.Manager, & Romanian Waiter were all excellent. However, two female staff at breakfast did not communicate , totally lscking any charm. Generally yhere was a staff shortage, However the room was well decorated, clean, tidy and comfortable. The food was good but expensive. Breahfasts were disorganised with a poor quality buffet. The toaster had bee taken away on our third day, Parking good,

Right on the doorstep of Blenheim Palace in the vibrant town of Woodstock this incredible historic hotel is a real gem. Lovely rooms with comfortable beds and delicious breakfasts. Dining is excellent. We had delicious steak perfectly cooked medium rare with excellent peppercorn sauce and real hand cut chips, plus fish and chips so light and delicate with home made tartare sauce. And delicious desserts. Wonderful service and great staff really enhanced the stay.

Located in the centre of the beautiful Woodstock. Walk out of the front door, turn left, walk 150 yards and you arrive at the rear ( pedestrian only) entrance to Blenheim Palace gardens and park. 2 car parks to rear of building and very nice beer garden. Breakfast very basic. Rooms clean and nice toiletries. Only negative was no air-con, but after checking - neither had any of the other adjacent hotels….as all were old buildings. Would recommend this hotel.

Lovely Historic coaching house hotel. Exceptionally helpful staff. Well appointed air-conditioned rooms. Unfortunately, at 4pm during a heatwave, the air-conditioning in my room was not working and the reception staff said no one was available to repair it until the following day, after I had checked out. A fan was available in the room. The EV chargers worked, but only after downloading and registering on the Roam App. Contactless cards not accepted.
