Comfortable rooms, good parking, friendly staff, good breakfast
Problems with electricity supply to our room. Lights not working on entry. Was fixed but had to call on staff a few times as had repeated problems. They did deal with it each time quickly but we weren’t able to use kettle or heater during our stay for fear of losing lights again.

Staff were so friendly and welcoming, some of the best hospitality I've had in a long time.
Not much, the room was slightly dated and the bed was not the comfiest but overall nothing was bad.

It's a great place to make your base if you want to explore the Cotswolds, with its picturesque villages and rolling hills. Woodstock and Blenheim Palace are just a few minutes away on the road to Oxford. The charming town of Chipping Norton is also close by, but in the opposite direction. There's no need to worry about breakfast or dinner, as the Duke offers more than decent food to travelers and locals alike. My room was cozy, and the staff are helpful and accommodating.
Nothing to report.

Love the location, it's on a main road but it's not busy abs the rooms are set right back facing the fields. Staff superb - an uncommon find these days. We will be back!

The property is in an excellent location and staff were very welcoming. The room was very clean. The mattress was exceptionally comfortable.
It was cold when we visited (-1 degree Celsius). I would have liked the room and bathroom to be a touch warmer as the cold air was coming in through the gap between the door and the floor.

The twin room was clean, well lit, warm and the bed very comfortable. The shower was powerful and the towels soft and fluffy. The breakfast choice catered for all and was well cooked. The lady at breakfast was very welcoming and attentive. It was close to Blenheim Palace with a bus stop right out side. We would highly recommend a stay here.

Location to the event we were attending
Rooms were in a separate external building, motel style up metal staircase - not the easiest access when carrying luggage.

It was a very warm and welcoming pub when we arrived on a wet afternoon. The room was beautifully presented with a very comfortable bed and nice facilities.
Dinner was excellent with a good choice on the menu and an equally good breakfast in the morning.
It's in the perfect position if you're visiting Blenheim Palace.

Great location, accommodation was clean and comfortable.
Stairs were a bit slippery when going up with the suitcase and couple of bits were missing in the room upon arrival, menu and coffees were provided second day but we were leaving by then.

The room was really clean, tidy and the decor was lovely. You can also enjoy the complimentary drinks and treat that was on offer in the room. The food at the restaurant was really nice and the staff were very helpful with any questions we had to ask and they guided us on what the best options there was for food due to one of us having an intolerance. Would definitely recommend coming here and bringing the dog with us as they are pet friendly as well.
There isn’t nothing you can’t dislike about this place but would be nice if the hot water for the bath was a little more hot.

Restaurant food was good
Restaurant good, but no comfy seating bar area and like so many places nowadays no heating in restaurant/bar
Breakfast was ok! Self service limited to yoghurts and cereal and filtered coffee. Extra charge for machine coffees and full English. Disappointing for £150 a night.
