If you are looking for a quick break from the city, this is a great location close enough to some of the other Cotswolds villages. The hotel itself is an old inn, but rooms are spacious, and the bed was comfy. The tv was small for the room, but you aren't going to the Cotswolds to watch TV. My only real complaint was the wifi. It was basically non existent. We did mention to the staff and unfortunately there wasn't much they could do. The location is great, as a few pubs within walking distance, and places to eat. Great value for money.

An exceptionally well preserved old inn abd the interiors of the rooms are beautifully upgraded, comfortable and spotlessly clean. Great location in the heart of Woodstock steps away from Blenheim Palace and with very good easy bus links to Oxford and surrounds. Highly recommended.
