What an awesome hotel, everyone was friendly. No air conditiioning, but we survived well. Don't think that if you are from the states, you should rent a car. There are plenty of options for transportation vendors, the hotel will provide you the contacts. Beautiful part of the world.

I almost do not want to review this place because I consider it my American little secret. Great Rissington is a gem close to everything but completely removed - with southern facing views to die for, and a five minute drive to Bourton / ten to Slaughters. Perfect location but beyond that this quaint lil hotel and restaurant is simply what you expect if you are Cameron Diaz in the Holiday. The ceilings are low if you are tall, but for a short person it is perfection in plaid and rich wood. The staff is lovely, the rooms are cozy and clean, and there is something about the way the birds chirp here in the morning that is unlike anyplace I have ever been. Bravo, Lamb Inn! Amazing stay at The Lamb Inn for my Husbands birthday. Everyone really friendly & helpful especially Joe,Jenny, Amy, Susie & Dee. We had a beautiful room with breathtaking views.We would definitely stay there again if we were to visit the Cotswolds again in the future.
