The room was very comfortable and very clean. The location was excellent, so pretty and relaxing and perfectly placed for our mini tour of the Cotswolds. The bottles of water in the room were appreciated.
There wasn't anything we 'didn't like'. However, a suggestion - the shower was a little small - space in the bathroom could be utilised better. Shelving in the bathroom would be useful as there was very little space to put toiletries. The staff were so friendly and welcoming and made our stay exceptionally nice. The food in the restaurant was fabulous.

Location is very good for exploring the surrounding area by car or just walking locally.
I had booked the property in a rush and didn’t realise the included breakfast was only a continental style. A full English was chargeable at £17:50 per person so my own fault but in all my 67 years it was a first in any British inn where breakfast was included. Also the local ale was not very well kept. Our room was in an attic space that would get uncomfortably hot in summer months and the balcony seating area was out of order.

Cleanliness
Quite noisey from the pub below, squeaky floor boards above and plumbing. Also we had Sunday lunch and the potatoes were awful

Bar and restaurant are nice. The rooms are ok but nothing crazy
A continental breakfast (croissants, Youghurt, some granola, coffee and tea) was included, while anything else was to pay extra, I found the hotel rate quite elevated in comparison to other places around and we had to pay again 13-18 £ / person for some substantial breakfast. No bread also at the breakfast table.
Our room was above the kitchen so we heard the ventilation all afternoon / evening (nothing at night), it was very noisy and the view was to the roof..
