Everything was great, there were no problems

Breakfast was very good, freshly made. We loved the quiet room, no disturbance. Location was excellent, right in the middle of Moreton. Jack looked after us very well, very accommodating.
The bathroom was a little small for a very tall man, otherwise nothing we didn’t like apart from the rain!

Location was fantastic, managed to park no problem outside of the Bell, which isn't always the case. Good staff and facilities.
Bit of a wait for breakfast. Also, in the summer the room allocated to me in the Courtyard may not be suitable as it is surrounded by outdoor seating areas which might become noisy.

Staff professional and pleasant, room small (bathroom miniscule) but adequate. Slept very well in the very comfortable bed. Excellent breakfast. Particularly enjoyed the live music in the bar one evening and the overall friendly vibe.
Bathroom and room could have been a bit bigger. Some issues with the room itself (leaks from room above) which could not be sorted out when we were there meant we could not use some sockets, so no 2nd bedroom light and limited space meant nowhere else suitable to use the coffee maker. Pub is very popular with locals, including families, too crowded for me on the first evening so we went elsewhere to eat.

Everyone at the Bell Inn was extremely nice, courteous and helpful. Love being at the best pub and Inn where everyone gathers.

The whole atmosphere was welcoming, comfortable and friendly. An easy walk to the railway station and the local bus stop was even closer. I would be more than happy to stay there again.
Wi-Fi in the room could have been more reliable.

Bell Inn has great character, village pub feel with warm cosy fire and great range of beers; John and team provide exceptional hospitality. Bedrooms amazing which overlook the old coaching yard and outside seating which adds to the character. Saturday evening a small band played, locals arrived and generated a fun social atmosphere. Food and breakfast very good; excellent parking around the high street and great location for exploring other local Cotswold villages.
Nothing.

Good breakfast, friendly and helpful staff and great hospitality. And a really interesting place to stay with its own unique history.

It was one of the best trips. It's too simplistic to describe this as an hotel. You can breathe (and I didn't know about it) a true and real Tolkien atmosphere. It is also a pub (with live music!), a nice restaurant, the wine is perfect too!!! I also have to say that breakfasts are one of the most delicious parts of the day :). John is an amazing owner, very kind and it's a delight to have a chat with him in the mornings! Let me also say the hotel is in a very convenient position. If you are travelling without a car there is a bus (almost in front of the hotel) that you can take to visit the other Cotswolds villages.

I liked the atmosphere of the hotel and the staff were lovely. A lot of locals used the bar area and that was great to see and be part of. A very welcoming feel. The accommodation was quite small but clean.

Comfortable stay with lovely room, cosy bed and pillows, superb facilities, heating great. Friendly staff, the dog was the standout staff member. Delicious cooked breakfast, eggs were perfect. Good location, easy walk to Station, handy to shops.
Some small noise from neighbours with hearing them walk on floorboards, only slight inconvenience, as used earplugs provided and then peaceful.

Excellent location with clear references to JRR Tolkien which was the sole purpose of my stay. The inn has a very nice old world feel. Interior of room was very attractive
There was a green light that I could not turn off and a humming sound-I am a very light sleeper !
Although eye mask and ear plugs were provided.

The location was very central. The staff were helpful. The room was pleasant. The bed was comfortable. Delicious eggs for breakfast. Lovely dog.
No early check in; overhearing a conversation at bar between owner/manager and bar worker about the poor work of another member of staff; no WiFi in room the whole time I was there and no discount offered; very loud courtyard at night until around 10pm with lots of swearing clients; noise from other rooms (TV, talking, snoring, light pull etc); quite limited breakfast spread e.g one piece of toast, no pastries; spray cleaning tables whilst people still eating; bedroom was cold at first until externally controlled heating was switched on; no TV channels at first due to no WiFi but this was quickly fixed.

Centrally located and family operated. Staff was very friendly and had great tips about the area.
Could not avoid stairs to get to our room; might be tough for elderly.

Very friendly staff.
No dinners available on 2 of our 3 nights but quite a few options elsewhere in the village!
Dinners not available but understand staffing shortages in kitchen

Excellent location, lovely rooms in old inn with tons of charm. Exposed brick walls. Thoughtful room amenities including earplugs and sleep masks as the inn is also a pub and beer garden. The live music playing when we arrived was exceptional and put us in the holiday mood for our trip. But the place became very quiet as the evening wore on and there was no need for earplugs! A very hearty and delicious breakfast came included with the stay.
There was nothing unlikable.

Breakfast of scrambled eggs and smoked salmon was wonderful as was our room.
The lighting in the bathroom could have been better, and the main food of pizza meant we ate out elsewhere a lot.

The Inn had live music in the garden on one of the days we were there; the musician was great! The room was spacious and comfortable, and the breakfast was the best we had on our trip! Highly recommend.

The room is large, the bed is comfortable, and room is very clean with a great coffee maker. Location is great. Very good breakfast.
We arrived at 2:30, checkin is at 3, and our room was ready but the proprietor, for some unknown reason, would not let us check in. So they put our bags in our room and we went hiking. 3.5 hours later the pub was very busy and checkin became another wait. This was all unnecessary.
It is a bit noisy from the pub below. It did quiet down after 10. Also, trying to get an afternoon nap someone brought dogs to the pub’s outdoor area and they barked for 2 hours. Not the inn’s fault, but certainly an annoyance.
The pillows are too bulky and uncomfortable

Nice room in to the courtyard overlooking the beer garden. Probably quite noisy when it’s not raining though
Late breakfast 08.30 - 09.30, offered me coffee for around 08.15, which was fine on this occasion
