Peaceful, clean, comfortable, with a lovely atmosphere

Chantal was kind, helpful and made us feel comfortable immediately. The breakfast each morning was delicious (more than enough food!) and kept us going for the day. We were on a longer trip, and Chantal cleaned our laundry for us. We left it with her in the morning and returned to freshly laundered clothes in the evening. That was a tremendous blessing. Thanks to Chantal and Daniel for opening their home to us!

Everything…the views from the whole area ..the room was gorgeous so clean and well presented.. the breakfast was delicious and fresh.. the staff where friendly and welcoming..their kids were so polite and friendly.. they let me explore around feed the chickens and cows.. we had such a fab time it’s so peaceful and relaxing..beautiful stars at night we will definitely be returning for another visit

No smart tv for Netflix at night in the room and my back doesn’t cope too well on spring mattresses, no support memory foam would be better for us older back people lol but on a whole there’s nothing we didn’t like.

Peaceful farm stay in the Cotswolds with delicious breakfast.

We spent two nights at Mill Cottage while we explored the Cotswolds. It is located on a working farm in a renovated heritage farm building. The location is peaceful, quiet and close to well-appointed villages - only a five minute drive to Stow-on-the-Wold for dinner. Our host, Chantal, was lovely - friendly without being intrusive, and she cooks each guest a delicious, made-to-order breakfast in the morning. Our twin room was comfortable, with warm bedding and underfloor heating.

There were some seats outside the back door of our room but that area didn't look particularly inviting, and just looked out at a large shed. The bathroom was quite small but had everything we needed.

Unexpected gem

Relaxed, friendly, stay. Visit was for a mix of business and pleasure activities. The courtyard of cottages was spotlessly clean and of high standard. Comfortable, quiet nights sleep in what appeared to be full accommodation, I had 2 relaxed nights of sleep. Powerful shower. The breakfasts were really good quality with good choices and cooked to order, with home baked sourdough bread, delightful hosts friendly and helpful. Set in part of a working family farm but with quiet peaceful outdoor space to sit in. The dining room was also available to use as a lounge and had a good choice of books to browse if required and access to supply of fresh milk. Shared but spacious long breakfast tables made for a sociable experience with other guests. Would recommend and definitely stay again if in the area.

Location was nice and quiet, easy to park and bedroom was a good size.

The bathroom was really quite small and it was easy to bang the shower door on the sink.

The Breakfast was excellent! The staff were helpful and very polite. The room was clean and comfortable. The farm was beautiful.

There were no tissues in the room. When we visited it was very hot and we could have done with a fan, but I was told that they would provide one on request.

As a couple who were having a break without the children for once, we had a lovely relaxing stay. Beautiful farm and countryside, and location.Chantal was a lovely lady who works so hard and cooks amazing breakfasts( thank you). Absolutely fabulous

Location was good situated outside Stow on Wold on a working farm. Chantelle made us feel very welcome upon our arrival and during our stay - she does a mean cooked breakfast and there’s lots of choice. She also had plenty of suggestions of where to visit etc and nothing was too much trouble.

Fab little spot in the countryside

I loved everything about Mill Cottage. Out in the countryside a few minutes drive from Stow in the Wold. Chantal the owner was just lovely and her breakfasts were amazing. She even made a take away breakfast on our last day as we had to leave early. She gave us some great suggestions for dinner venues and places to visit. The room was great for my daughter and I and we even had visits from the resident kitty 😺

Location was great for exploring the Cotswolds. The breakfast was a step above most, with house-baked sourdough and farm raised eggs and produce. Very friendly and helpful wife & husband team running it! Bonus — adorable children may make an appearance.

The only thing to be aware of is that there is no shampoo in the shower, but our hostess provided a bottle on request.

We had a lovely welcome here. Great breakfast with freshly made sourdough bread. The team were wonderful and were really helpful. We even spent the evenings sitting in their lounge/ dining area for our supper - we had brought cheese and wine and they gave us glasses and bread.
