The place felt cosy and comfortable. Really good location for all the places we visited. Facilities provided were good and the host was very approachable and responsive. Whilst we did not sit outside in the garden it was nice to know that we could if we wanted too, however bare in mind that this is shared with the other room too.

I didn’t realise that the balcony room had the bathroom downstairs so was a little skeptical with during the night bathroom visits (especially being 34 weeks pregnant), this is just my fault for not looking further into detail however. We could hear the couple who were staying in the garden room very easily, this included their snoring during the night time which made us conscious to be very quiet ourselves but didn’t spoil our time away. Lastly, I would’ve appreciated a message asking if we required any more tea / coffee etc, so whilst it was very nice that it did get replaced whilst we were out for the day it almost felt like a small invasion of privacy as we did not expect our room to be entered by the host when we had the keys to the room on us.

We loved everything about our stay. We were very close to Bourton on the Water, Broadway, Burford and Jeremy Clarksons Diddly Squat and The Farmer’s Dog ( had an evening reservation) Cottage was very clean, had a very comfortable bed, power shower which was very perfect for the very hot days and tv with wifi that worked. An extra touch of lovely, white, dressing gowns and homemade gin. What’s not to like 😁 We ordered a delicious continental breakfast, all laid out on a white table cloth. Freshly chopped fruit, yoghurt, hot croissants, pain au chocolate, toast with jam and marmalade, complimented by freshly brewed coffee. Our hosts were very pleasant and happy to chat and give us local advice. Thank you both 😊

Parking is slightly tight at the front of the property but we did have a bigger car. Just need to be careful entering and exiting, onto a country lane.

Loved the idyllic quiet location, it was a lovely room with fantastic views. It's in a very small beautiful village but easy to get to bigger local towns for shopping etc.

Parking, there are only 4 spaces and the house is just off a bend so reversing out into the road could be tricky.

Lovely property in an equally lovely setting and convenient location to tour the surrounding areas. Additional cost for breakfast, but this was plentyful and of good quality. Host Jenny was welcoming and friendly and very responsive to questions before arriving and requests whilst there.
