Traditional building very nice & welcoming, the rooms are added on at the back, basic but clean & comfortable

A lovely place to stay. Our rooms were spacious, very clean and comfortable. All the staff were friendly and helpful and the food delicious. We had dinner, one of our party chose from the Indian menu and the other two from traditional Pub Classics and everything was perfect. The breakfast was also a treat and the full english served perfectly, not floating in grease, as can often be the case. The hotel is surrounded by lovely countryside and so well positioned for visiting local attractions.

The Indian staff, in particular the Mnager could not have tried harder to oblige; their service was first class. The double sided menu one side of familiar English dishes and the other of very well described Indian cuisine. made the experience more interesting. Breakfast was very good indeed
For a stop of one night on a long journey this could not have been much better. Sound proofing between floors in the bedroom complex could have been better.
