Lovely old pub hotel in the center of Kingham. Very quiet village with great walks outside the front door. Sunday roast dinner was outstanding
We arrived on the train. No taxis available even though we called the local numbers the pub provided. It’s 1.5 miles from the station to the pub. We ended up hitching a ride with a kind local couple. Thank goodness.

Breakfast great and the location perfect for sight seeing/ walking (but not so much in the heat). i love the fact the Plough is a down to earth, unpretentious local pub. Dinner at the Wild Rabbit probably better, but more expensive! AND i lilke the fact the Plough, whilst one of 4 pubs, is truly independent. Whilst Wild Rabbit is part of a huge enterprise.
our little room was perfect for our needs but SO hot. its in the eves of a very old building I get that, but maybe you need to think about the years to come and put in some additional cooling. the fan wasn't enough. Also, a mini fridge. you really need one of these.

A warm evening so room was extremely hot. Too loud with window open and fan didn't really help. Would like a mirror in the bedroom. Wish breakfast started earlier midweek, it started too late for us so we missed it.

Room was comfortable, breakfast was nice and staff were pleasant
Parts of the room could have been cleaned better (toilet area), no hairdryer and tv signal was very poor
