Good location for visiting places around the Cotswolds, food was great & pub was really nice, staff great.
shower hard to get temp right as just ran off bath taps

Lovely pub, stunning village. Room was warm and cosy and quiet, giant bathroom. Great food (Breakfast and dinner) we went to the Fox at Oddington one night, found it very pretentious, were pleased we had dinner at the Plough 2nd night. In fairness the Wild Rabbit pub was lovely too, very down to earth
Felt room was a little “tired” for £225 a night. Woodwork could do with re painting. I know doggie rooms are never the best but definitely think its due for a re furb or at best a price review

The location was excellent being a 20 minute drive away from most of the main towns. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff were welcoming and professional.
The only bug we had was the noise from time to time. I’m an incredibly light sleeper and with it being boutique, we could hear people walking up and down the stairs and the shutting of doors and conversations. This wasn’t all the time by any means and potentially me being picky as everything else was excellent.

Stunning property located in a beautiful village. Deluxe bedroom was spacious and cosy. Love the roll top bath!
The staff are a credit to the hotel. The young blonde lady during our dinner was so friendly and helpful during our stay (sorry didn’t catch her name).
NOTHING. 10/10 stay and would highly recommend to anyone who asks.

The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The rooms were comfortable and tastefully decorated, and the breakfast was excellent. Kingham is an attractive village that, we imagine (when the weather is better!), provides a wonderful base for walking, country pursuits, and exploring the surrounding area.
The bedroom was extremely hot during the night, and unfortunately we were unable to find a thermostat or adjustable radiator to regulate the temperature (although the bathroom did have a radiator, which we turned off). As a result, we had to open the windows. We were then disturbed by a significant amount of noise outside the bedroom window at around 06:00hrs; it sounded like delivery activity, although to be fair it may not have been connected to the hotel.

Building work ruined our stay and having breakfast with hammering and a paintbrush hanging over us we were gutted not to be told about this else we wouldn’t have booked as it was a special night away for us both.
A peaceful morning and knowing about the building work

Its was perfectly located and has lots of space to relax. The staff and and the pub was great and had close amenities such as local shop and other pubs close by. The breakfast was delicious!
Some of the fixings need replacing such as the shower screen was broken and towels could have been fresher.

Great location in heart of a pretty Cotswolds village
My room had a bath rather than a shower but this wouldn’t stop me staying again or recommending the Plough to friends etc

The property and location were stunning. The pub itself was cosy and welcoming. Our room was spacious and comfortable. Perfect place to celebrate Mum’s birthday. The food was stunning! Best breakfast, the eggs were unreal, as was the evening meal. Am recommending to everyone visiting the Cotswolds as the place to stay.
The room was very hot despite the cold conditions outside and window open but didn’t deflect from the fantastic stay!

Cosy pub with lovely staff, bed was so comfy, pleasantly warm room (winter visit). Food was good. Good location for exploring Cotswolds . Excellent tea , coffee and homemade cookies in the room. A bottle of cold milk delivered each morning.
Breakfast is 1 choice of several options , including hot and cold drinks.
Our bedroom was at the top of some steps outside. They had put chicken wire over them to stop you slipping, but it was quite dark at night climbing up them, could something a light especially when carrying luggage upstairs.
Would love to see a Sunday roast on the evening menu on a Sunday!

Exactly what we were looking for in an inn at the cotswolds. The property was lovely, the room was clean, and the breakfast was fabulous. Staff was fantastic, as well.
Nothing! Maybe having to lug my girlfriend’s 80 kilo suitcase up two flights of stairs haha!

The Barn was very well laid out and cozy. Lots of light , warmth and good amenities.
We felt very relaxed as that was the main point of the trip apart from countryside walks.
Breakfast was included and a good choice of the most popular items. The service was very welcoming and pleasant.
Nothing to fault.

The pub is in a lovely cotswold village. The food we had on the Friday night was very good and the service good too.
Some parts of the room we stayed in I felt were a bit grubby. The blinds at the windows looked pretty grubby and the surfaces of the bedside tables, coasters were a bit dusty. The skirting boards in the loo looked as if they could do with a good clean.

Delightful staff. Very friendly and helpful.
Tricky outside stairs to bedroom. Bedroom had no door between outside and bedroom, no lobby. One bedroom had a bath in the passage before the bedroom so you had to walk past the bath to get to bedroom and there was no shower.

Very clean and spacious. Well equipped. Great location, quiet. Comfortable beds. Loved the wood fire!
There are a few issues with the electrics, bathroom fan and lights not working. Lacking wardrobe storage in 1 room, no hangers.

The staff. They were incredibly friendly, and made us feel like we’d come home when we checked in. We were only there for 24 hours but they made us feel very relaxed and taken care of.

The location
The bed - really comfortable
There was nowhere in the room to do hair or makeup - the room needed at least a chair!

Bed was uncomfortable and no mugs in room to make tea - just very small cups

The location is lovely and the room was comfortable. Fans provided.
Toiletries provided smelt beautiful
The bathroom is very dated and in need of work.

Lovely property in a great location. Excellent breakfast.
Unfortunately there was a strong smell from the waste pipe in the bathroom throughout the stay.

Comfortable bed and lovely Bramley products. Proper coffee and teas in room with fresh milk brought in the morning which was lovely touch. Great breakfasts with local products. Old pub.
Staff really friendly.
Hot in room at the very top. But with open windows better.
No remote for TV.

The room was shabby/chic but needed a refurbishment. Bathroom basin was cracked and the taps didn’t match. The toilet didn’t flush properly.

Beautiful property in a stunning location x little sleepy village in the middle of nowhere x
Room layout was a bit strange. Room 2 straight into bathroom only a bath and no shower. We could not find the sink for ages until we opened the wardrobe door and there it was in the wardrobe lol

Beautiful location, onsite restaurant, outdoor seating, quirky.
Room 1 where we were faced the road and was quite noisy.
For the price we paid, I wouldn't have expected the sink to be cracked, nor the toilet to be dripping all night.

The food was excellent. The room was small and dated. The toilet did not flush easily. The sink was cracked. The area around the tub'shower needed maintenance. This is not a 4 star property, except for the food.

Well appointed room and delicious breakfast as part of the rate. Lovely countryside location and friendly staff.
Struggled with wifi and network connections, but that seemed to be out of their hands.
