we spent two nights here and we was amazed at the quality of the food ,how friendly and helpful all the staff were to us.
the meals breakfast to evening meal was lush and was that happy and full we ordered it the second night..
veal pie is to die for
as it was an older building the floor in our room made me feel a bit sea sick and of balance but got used to it

The staff made it - they were lovely. Food was delicious, and the location was perfect. A little piece of heaven.

Authentic feel about the place with we believe dates back to the 15th century.
Breakfast. It was the worst Breakfast (full English) we have ever been served. The cuts of bacon were cheap streaky cuts, the sausage was bland & tasteless. The Black pudding was undercooked & the egg was overcooked. It was certainly NOT a full English. There were no baked beans or hash browns included. It just felt that the Breakfast was done as cheaply as possible.
