Breakfast and location was excellent

The property was well placed for visiting local areas and the room was comfortable. The bathroom was clean and well stocked.
The restaurant was quite expensive, we had haddock and chips and the portions were small and the peas were served in a dish which was the same size as the tartare sauce dish so only approx two teaspoons.

Comfort of room and bed with plenty of space - Room 9 in the courtyard; Bar area for eating wth real fire. Good menu.
If it is raining and you are in a courtyard room you have to go outside to gain access to your room and no umbrellas provided; personally not so keen on a ground floor room

The perfect cosy country hotel. Everything we wanted 🙌. The pub was soo cute and the food was wonderful too. We loved that it was in a quieter area. 100% recommend.

The King’s Head is an old, quintessentially English pub which also offers rooms. The style befits the building. Our room was clean and cosy with a large bathroom and the bed was so comfy I wanted to sleep in it forever.
Nothing.

Location. Food. Always great
No water, hot or cold. Had to use a loo on the opposite side of the property. No shower. Ladder blocked access to the stairs and our room.
Made worse by no offer to discount the room on exit

The Pub itself is really nice, a cosy feeling with great choices of alcohol,
It’s in a great location close to lots of lovely villages to go and see,
Parking was limited round the back for guests staying,
The rooms were a little smaller than I had hoped,
The bathroom Toilet was too close to the very Hot towel rail which meant you had to be really careful,
The shower head is too low, it’s fixed so you can’t move it which meant my head would only just about about go under it, I’m 6 foot so not especially tall.
The mattress was too soft for us but that’s just a personal choice,
It was also a shame you had to go outside before entering the building again to have breakfast, not great when it’s pouring of rain.

Not much parking space. When we got back the residents car park was full.

400 yr old pub with log fire and good food beer and wine- whats not to like👏
This was our 3rd visit and we knew what to expect from visiting the hotel and the area.

Authentic feel about the place with we believe dates back to the 15th century.
Breakfast. It was the worst Breakfast (full English) we have ever been served. The cuts of bacon were cheap streaky cuts, the sausage was bland & tasteless. The Black pudding was undercooked & the egg was overcooked. It was certainly NOT a full English. There were no baked beans or hash browns included. It just felt that the Breakfast was done as cheaply as possible.

Low ceilings, tiny doors and uneven floors make you really feel what it was like to stay in this place hundreds of years ago. Just perfect.
Nothing to not like.

nice clean and warm room, excellent range of toiletries
Really appreciated immediate notification when a valuable item was left behind in room.
Lighting in corridors leading to accommodation need to be left on
Appreciate this is a very old building and I may have missed detail somewhere, but feel that limited headroom to bedrooms should be identified in hotel detail in consideration for those with limited mobility

Breakfast good, but toast very hard! Great friendly and helpful staff. Bar food good.Room immaculate for cleanliness, but bathroom rather small. Would have preferred a walk-in shower. Would also have preferred ground floor rooms as one of the party used a walking stick and another has mobility issues.

Great location, cozy pub and accommodation. Great staff in the bar and restaurant and lovely food in the restaurant with 4 very good cask ales available.
Average breakfast. You have to ask if you want more coffee, more toast etc. It feels that the staff are told to keep the cost down by not asking! It’s the first time in our country that I’ve seen a service charge included of more than 10% in the restaurant.

Decent room, good food and friendly service in a quiet room in a nice village close to Morton in marsh.
The bathroom was quite small but perfectly ok for 1 night.

A lovely little pub with lots of character. We loved our room and bathroom.
The pub was a bit noisy when trying to sleep but closed at 11 and was then very quiet.

This is a fabulous bed and breakfast. The staff were super friendly, the rooms very comfortable and the restaurant served great food both in the evening and at breakfast. I think the cost of the bed and breakfast is really good value for what they charged us. Highly recommended and I would love to go back there.

Everything was great, the room was super nice and silent. With lots of ammenities! Parking was big and super convinient, We had a dinner reservation and the food was amazing. I still have dreams with that sticky toffee pudding.

Everything! The whole place is amazing and I really recommend it! The dinner at their pub/restaurant is a MUST!
We had a small issue with the water after dinner, around 22:30, because there was no water in the bathroom (sink and shower). But we were able to reach out a member of staff and she turned on the pumps :)
My suggestion is to figure a new way to reduce noise because it’s impossible to stay without water (with the pumps off)

Evening meal was excellent
Room 3 was tired, the mattress was worn out and needed replacement, carpet needed deep clean, water pump in cupboard was noisy every time water was used.
Breakfast disappointing, couldn't produce unburnt toast after two attempts.

The property was cosy and comfortable, the grounds were fantastic and it summed up the Cotswold beautifully. The staff remembered your preferences (how we drink tea at breakfast etc)
Parking was a little difficult at times but no issue as you could park on roads nearby

Cute location
Cute cozy rooms
Good breakfast
Great value
The beds are TINY you will struggle if you’re on the taller side I ended up sleeping on the floor cuz both me and my partner are 5’11 and 6’2🤣🤣
Everything creaks and walls are thin but that’s probably expected since it’s a historic building
Parking not great but you have street parking

We liked everything - room, dinner and breakfast! Large bath sheets, lots of hot water, great shower, very comfy beds and very friendly, polite, courteous and very attentive staff - thank you very much!
We really could not fault the hotel, it was quirky, but in a very nice way.

The evening meal and breakfast were very good.
Decor and decoration of room needed refreshing.
Shower was a tight fit.
