Location was lovely. Although our room was on the round about so once traffic started we were woken. We were greeted by sandy & welcomed.

The member of staff looked after us on arrival, we arrived earlier than planned and he had the room ready for us. Yes the place is a little dated, but so what! The beds were very comfortable. Despite the heat, we slept well because the beds were so good. The location was perfect for our needs. And the price was spot on for the area. We were heading to clarksons pub and farm shop, so this was an excellent spot to stay for that.
The "car park" albeit limited spaces, could do with some maintenance. We were on motorbikes and it was a bit dangerous. We wanted our bikes secure and in view rather than a public car park away from our location. We were able to park in the hotels car park, but it left a lot to be desired.

Close to shops
Was like a sweat box, I appreciate the weather is hotter than normal but a fan that does not work properly in room that cramped, shower was shocking, only 1 light worked, car park is not fit for purpose especially when owner/Landlord parks badly, owner/Landlord we found quite inconsiderate and rude.
