I had a very pleasant stay — the hotel is right on the High Street and close to the station, with plenty of convenient amenities nearby, making it an excellent base for exploring the surrounding towns. The room was in a ground-floor cottage-style setting with a small courtyard, which made it especially quiet and relaxing.
No complaints at all.

It was at 24, High street. I found number 21 then number 25A but Bankview wasn't between them bizarrely! It was certainly opposite Lloyds Bank but a warning about the illogical numbering system of the High Street would have helped!

Location was perfect
The property was extremely cold. Not able to shower first evening because the room was so cold
It needs an additional heat source in the bathroom and also decent window coverings.
