The Crown Inn was so cosy and in a picturesque quiet village. The bed was comfortable and we slept really well. We really enjoyed playing cards by candlelight in the pub before bed and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming.
We absolutely loved the breakfast too, local and fresh ingredients. The brioche buns were homemade fresh that morning, paired with bacon from a local farm it was the best bacon bap I have ever eaten!
The village was a perfect location to drive easily to many different areas in the Cotswolds.
Such a small thing but a coat stand or coat hooks in the room would have been great for our soggy coats after a day out.

Excellent environment and typified quintessential British Pub.
Superb food and very friendly staff. The rooms were tastefully finished and very cosy.
Parking a bit of an issue, but we arrived when Sundays lunch was in full flow.
Had to wait nearly an hour for breakfast but the quality of food was worth the wait.

The food was good
We stayed in the cottage, the bedroom was warm but the sitting room was cold even when we put the fire on, there’s a really bad draft from the front door.
